I love this cologne because my dad wore it all the time before he passed away. It honestly just grew on me it's an amazing scent. Definitely recommend it.

I get about 8 hours from this and love the smell. Lasts all day and develops well on me as my skins warms up. Can’t complain and it’s cheaper then most people recommend at this level.

Yes this cologne is everywhere, but it is always going to be my favorite I think. Something about it is so unique, and I also disagree I believe the fragrance stays with you all day, and the scent seems to change as it ages and I really like the smell of the cologne after it sat for a long time. Honestly there is no better. I just bought the cologne by creed, and I think that cologne is so overrated and smells very musky. Not my style I can understand why some old man would want it but when I mean old I mean old

This was a beast back in the day. In the late nineties one of my coworkers wore this all the time and it was really strong. I could smell it everywhere in the office. And the color of the fragrance was very yellowish. Now the liquid is clear as water. And performs just like water too

I'm 39 and I got my first bottle in ninth grade! It was a game changer at the time. I was obsessed it became my personality 😂 Edit: as far as longevity goes the formula has definitely changed over time. The longevity used to be ridiculous you can spray it on your clothes and smell it weeks later just like Baccarat 540

I disagree. Profumo comes off as too peppery for my taste, whereas I find orange and sea notes from Acqua di Gio come out more which I enjoy. Profumo is bolder, more rustic and you can argue more masculine but I'd rather the light, breezy, aromatic smell that makes you feel like you're on a beach.

I have tried 10 branded perfume like savage, tom ford, Versace, Paco rabanne, etc. But I got loads of compliments only for Giorgio armani perfumo, this is evergreen fregrence. Its dry down is so crazy that you will compliment yourself 👍

mine lasts about 5-6 hours on my skin :) abesolutely love it and my wife too. Fresh out of the shower, summer scent which gives you an boost of energy to go out a do stuff from A to Z

The longevity is like 6-8 hours for me and stays as a skin scent for 15-20+ hours. Depends on your skin chemistry, I personally love this smell. Fragrances are subjective so seeking opinions is not always a good option. Just try it out if you like it buy it.

I love this cologne. And i agree its a must buy for the collection. But i dont think it smells as good as the older og aqua did imo. And its shelf life isnt good either. But even though i dont wear it much anymore its a good collection piece. Especially for new collection starters. You need this in yours.

I just bought this the other day simply because it's one of the best fragrances I've ever experienced. I love how fresh and aquatic it is. It reminds me of the ocean, which is where I wish I was. :-) But Jeremy is right, it doesn't last long. But while it lasts, it's wonderful.

Too keep it real that argument that Aqua Di Gio is warn by everybody and will remind your current girl or girl you trying to get with of an ex or uncle cant be used no more. All these new fragrances on the market are either clones of Sauvage or Invictus Acua. So it really dont matter because all these designer scents smell alike anyways.

Which is better the original acqua di gio or the acqua di gio profumo?

I bought today acqua di gio edt pour homme and all i can say is that is a great fragrance amazing fragrance

I also believe that Burberry Brit is awesome, and one of my other favorites is dolce & Gabbana The One for men.

That’s why I used Essenza instead. It’s an EDP instead of an EDT, so it lasts a lot longer. Too bad they discontinued it. A good substitue will be the Bentley Silverlake. But I would still recommend paying a premium for a bottle of Essenza for those special occasions, you are guaranteed to get compliments. They now average $300/75ml. 😂 Ridiculous but worth it imo if you only use it on important occasions. It’s unique and very few ppl will have it. Exclusivity!

I got one of this recently, and I do think it smells very nice but I would agree the performance is pretty bad, doesn't project very well and doesn't last longer than 2hours for me. Nice smell though but the performance is not great

that one you have is eau de toilette and if you want acqua di gio with long lasting fragnance you must buy eau de parfum because it is more concentrated.

This one performs very good on me. Even during the winter months in central Europe.

I have the oringinal ADG and the profumo but for me I would choose profumo everyday over the original bcs it has more performance and is more masculine. You’re gonna recive a lot of compliments for sure

I absolutely love Acqua Di Gio Essenza. So dissapointed to know that it was discontinued. I didnt know until i went to buy another bottle last two month. I only used it on special nights. Every single person smelled it and they complimented me for the smell and loved it. Also It drove the ladies crazy. I found two bottle online. Was excited and bought them. I opened them. As i opened the box i suddenly got skeptical of the authenticity of the product. From the print and the smell. It smell less strong then the one i had. I realized it was second degree from the original. F********k

smells great but honeslty the performance is so bad its almost questionable if worth getting. I can barely smell it on my self with like 4 sprays after 1 hr.

I wonder why Alberto Morillas is always given sole credit for ADG. When in fact it was co-composed by he and Jacques Cavallier. Indeed the sea note that ADG is famous for was by Cavallier. Later seen in Bvlgari Aqva & Marine.

Ha, I like what you did there. I was beginning to question the wisdom of my most recent purchase, and then you said "Must buy."

I have an old bottle of ODT from the 90s and is a lot stronger and lasts much longer when I compare it to my new 2021 bottle, hence it is evident that it has been watered down. Mr. Giorgio Armani should save this fragrance (ODT and ODP) and return it to its original formula to quadruple his profits and gain a significant market share again which he lost by reducing the quality of the fragrance in the beginning of 21st century.

I agree with you. AdG when it first came out was a beast i remember using it in 1990s it was a compliment getter. Now the current version is mellower. becomes a skin scent in just 20 mins on me. maybe bcos of reformulation

The Performance saying is bad is an understatement I literally sprayed 30 times of this fragrance and in 30 minutes you can’t smell shit I have performo but I wanted to Finish this bottle that I bought

What are the differences between Acqua di Gio Profumo and the Acqua di Gio Eau de toilette?

This is my favorite scent for men!

In the 90's and early 00's it lasted longer. Bought a 6oz bottle of this and its absolute trash blasting. Minimum 1 hour max 3.... painful. Versace Fraiche, Ambercrombie Fierce, Dolce and Gabana Light Blue ALL last longer.

I've wanted this simple scent for quite a couple of years now. Purchased it from a legit supplier and I'm nothing but disappointed. Guess ill have to mix it with others til it's in the garbage.
