after buying the edp and edt first and being underwhelmed by how generic they are i finally got my hands on a 100ml bottle of bleu de chanel PARFUM and WOW, it is absolutely the best SMELLING out of the 3, and best performing, it is soooo much better, so much sexier, so much depth, i have no words, the difference in terms of sexiness, allure, quality is abysmal compared to the " meh" edp and edt, there is no contest here, the edp and the edt are not even close, it is not always the case that the most expensive flanker from the line is the BEST, but in this case, the most expensive from the line it is the best BY FAR, bdc parfum is a masterpiece and a true luxury, worth every single penny,.
similar experience for me, although, I started with the EDP and my brother had received the parfum for his bday and one day I decided to try it and upon first wear I knew this was hands down my favorite from the line and bought a bottle shortly after. I still think the edp is an excellent choice and still enjoy it but if I had to keep one, I'd take the parfum any day
@@HamzaSaab not saying that the edp is bad, it is just overplayed, like that kind of profile is everywhere, i cant say the same thing about the parfum, you will not smell it in the wild ( it is very unlikely due to the high price tag) and it is so much better, sexy and unique in a very mass appealing way, it has a sweet edge to it, like a very expensive candied pineapple or something, but it smells heavenly.
This has only one disadvantage, that it's popular and thus "nothing special". But consider this. In my circle I know of no one, not a single guy that wears it. So, yeah, maybe it's extremely common in the offices of New York or USA in general but not everywhere. Yes, the DNA is kinda familiar because there are similar scents but Bleu de Chanel is better than its copies. That said I think the Parfum is a bit too much, the EDP is imho the best value for money from the line.
The parfum is actually not that popular, its the EDT an EDP that are more popular but still not as popular an overused as Dior sauvage. I've actually never came across anyone wearing BDC yet. I assume the parfum is more rare also cause of the price, it's basically niche pricing
@decibeldragon1 i need to cop me a bottle this cyber Monday coming up soon then. I got a 100ml of the edp on last years cyber monday and have tried a sample of the edt and really liked both , I think I liked the edt slightly more than the edp, im curious about the Parfum though
Great review as usual! I would really like to see you review Ralph Lauren’s Polo Blue Parfum. I hear many people compare it to BDC in terms of class. Would be interesting to get reactions and maybe even a comparison. Thank you for regularly making high quality, interesting videos!
Thank you so much and I appreciate you taking the time to watch it, I plan on doing more polo reviews in the upcoming weeks so I’ll add it to the list 🙏
If you had to choose between Dior Sauvage or Bleu de Chanel, whitch one is the winner on daily use as signature, work, casual, in every situation but especially work?
I had a 2ml sprayer sample that I’ve kept for a couple of years. I recently wore it and ran out but I really really liked it. Today I went out and bought a 50ml bottle. Absolutely even more stunning, it feels more “aquatic” than the sample. Best of the line, hands down, period. Thanks for your video it’s refreshing to see a new face talk about fragrances. And especially one from over 6 years ago.
honestly if u can only own one fragrance this has to be it. bdc edt is what got me into fragrances and owned all of the flankers twice. it never fails to disappoint and is just so right for every occasion
Hamza putting in that work! Consistent uploads I gotta respect the grind and hustle brother. Too bad I bought the EDT instead….Hey, at least it works for the summer heat.
