The time difference between the pros and cons is really not surprising. I expected a lot of negatives with the game since they were so eager to give us something like Vanguard. I'll have to give some other games a try until Treyarch release their next game. Now that, I'm looking forward to. None of this copy-paste stuff.
A huge reason why I stopped playing warzone was because the meta kept changing and I never had the time to level up the new weapons that were in the meta. But if I tried playing with the off-meta weapons it was not even remotely a fair match. I hope they do shorten time for leveling up weapons. I would’ve never stopped playing warzone if I could keep up with the meta’s easier. I’m a dad so I don’t have all day to just spend leveling up a weapon. Hopefully someone hears this haha 🙏🏽
Totally agree. This is why I'm happy about the no loadouts. You will no longer have to mindlessly level up weapons. It might also keep the meta more versatile. I'm looking forward to it. I started out hating this beta, but once I got the feel for it, I really like it. The only thing I think they absolutely have to change is the footstep audio. It's not even fair. I can hear people halfway across the map.
This is the exact reason why I quit war zone. Having a family means I can’t spend all day playing and I could never have the current meta. The last month or two before I quit was pretty much playing only plunder to try and level guns.
If you are not playing with the best players meta means less than nothing. Please stop this nonsense. I mained the Oden, SCAR, and AN94 through the entire game's life cycle and it did amazing because I was familiar with it and enjoyed it. Milliseconds do not matter to a casual such as yourself so if it's ruining your fun; don't bother, it isn't worth it.
at the end of the day, this game is what it is. Remember when you first touched MW'19 and thought it was either a gold mine or a shitshow? That's exactly how this game is. And for the veterans, I don't feel like this series offers anything of value anymore.
I think IW and Treyarch are trying to cater to slightly different audiences now. Though 90 percent or more of the audience is probably the same for both anyway.

Yeah, this series is not what it used to be. At least for the next two years. I’m going to spend the next two years playing older shooters: Battlefield 4, Black Ops 3, and some MW 2019.
Yes sir this was my main mode to play the last 2 weeks. Such a great game mode and a good alternative for people who don’t want to sweat on S&D but want to play a single life mode.
True, I hated SND with a passion since it's extremely passive and rewards camping. But Prisoner rescue and Knockout both provide single life with dynamic objectives. Every round is different.
The biggest issue I feel is that if a game has that short TTK and has that many movement penalty compared with MW2019. The game will inevitably end up like a camp fest. Either IW need to readjust the TTK or make movement smoothness similar to MW2019, hopefully both.

GUESS WHAT GUYS. There's CAMPERS in every cod LMAO I ran into more campers in Cold snore since there was zero flinch and recoil so it's still whoever gets the first shot. And bc the poor weapon balance in cold snore dual pistols and snipers reigned supreme ALL YEAR. Keep making the excuse of campers bc youre trash at the game 😂😭🤣
Maps play so poorly in respawn due to the spawn system. VG had bad spawns, the spawns in the beta seemed somehow worse than MW19/VG. You would hit routes and just get circular spawns for your teammates around edge map. It leads to bizarre pacing where you fry every opponent on the other team for 60 seconds, then spend the next few minutes jogging simulator not finding anyone. Then next enemy you run into is conga lining with 3-4 people cause they're spam spawning on one another.
great point about joining matches in progress. I really hate joining a game that's half finished already and I'm on a team that's getting absolutely railed. 9/10 times I'm gonna quit out in that scenario and keep searching till i find a fresh game. They should add a filter that lets us choose whether we're fine with being added to games already in progress or not. If they can't find players for the spaces just backfill it with bots set to hard mode or something.
Very few games do this especially in casual modes, what they should do is what Rocket league does which is you can leave one game every certain amount of playtime. After that you get punished for leaving by 5 minute penalties getting worse from there.

Good feedback. Modern Warfare 2 is only as polarising as it is because the players that dislike it can see the huge potential this game actually has. A few tweaks and MW2 could be something really special 🤞
Slide canceling was never really purposely implemented. It was a result of several things combined and the devs just left it. I hate slide cancel, I think it's stupid that in order for you to be competitive you have to do such an un natural movement, and it is one of the worst offenders to taking away from immersion that you mentioned earlier. Slide canceling has made WZ unappealing to me. It's somewhat of an exploit that devs left in because it got so popular. I just wanna run around and shoot people in the face. Just my 2 cents.
@@JawhBoyLeaf I think that 90% of the MW attachments were useless so I am happy that there will be potentially less grind to unlock attachments for guns. I also disliked that I never knew how to unlock the mp5 lol
My personal theory is that they removed name plates just because of the inflatable decoy. Doesn’t really matter too much to me though, as long as visibility is improved though.
Yeah and I have bad eyesight. I am extremely limited in the military themed fps games I can play because of it. But CoD was always accessible because of nameplates. Now they just basically threw a middle finger in the face of people with poor eyesight or poor hardware (Graphics cards/screens etc)
MWII might take MW 2019’s place as the most polarizing Call of Duty game ever. I enjoyed the beta, but there are still a handful of things I wish were different. This has the potential to be a top 5 CoD game (in my opinion), but I don’t think IW wants to make any changes.
Being an old man and played the first cod's and modern warfares it felt like the older games. With that being said it felt so nice and brought back memories this was a lot of fun!
My biggest issue with this game has been the shoot first die first problem. Happened way too many times for me during the beta. The inconsistency of TTK is very infuriating. HC is gonna be a must in this game for me. No softcore.
I got to level 30 on the beta. Wasn't really feeling it. Gave it a fair shake, but wasn't really feeling it. Felt too stripped back and not particularly creative. Like a very baseline shooter with no real frills or ingenuity to hold my interest. Felt like I'd played it before whether or not that was true. Might pick it up on sale in the future after some updates, but in no rush.
I've been having a blast, they added recoil to guns now and I never cared for the slide cancel, the maps being bigger is OK but not at the same time, it really depends on the game mode for me, but it's honestly a big change from even 2019 mw
I see a lot of people saying "don't buy until Activision listens to us and change things". I'd like for that to happen as a first hour fan but in the end the game is their game, they don't owe us anything and to be honest they don't give a sh*it about our opinion.
Don’t buy until IW actually listens to the community and fixes the TTK. There is no point in supporting developers that do not care about you or your feedback

As a 29 yr old casual gamer who’s been gaming since the start, this is the most promising COD in a long time. I don’t know what y’all are complaining about because I was literally shitting on campers
MW 2019 was my favorite COD by a large margin because it was my preferred play style. I would bet that in 3-6 months of tweaking this game, MW2 will be my new favorite COD. I keep remembering that this was just a Beta and not a final product.
Hey, something to add though: I'm not a fan of the perk system either but as far as joining a match in progress, it will start you part of the way through the "Time" to unlock those perks. I've literally jumped into matches where I instantly unlocked all my perks at the first spawn. So not saying the system is good, but it's at least not AS bad.
The issue is that you only get the time contribution. Any score you would’ve earned if you were there from the beginning won’t exist. This still caters to steam rolling since the other team demolishing your team will have all their perks way before you do.
I completely agree with everything said by JGOD, couple of things I would like to add. Maybe it's just my settings but playing ground war when in buildings and looking outside is just way too bright almost can't see (playing on 4k with HDR on) and another thing is the glass opacity - there are windows with or without glass and just broken glass. I can see when the glass is broken, but I can't tell if there is a glass or not unless I break it, just a little hue on the glass will solve it imo.
1- Weapon visibility: the most annoying part for me in this beta. I can't see while i'm shooting. It shakes too much with the combination with muzzle flash and smoke. Would be great if they really reduced the visual recoil 2- The UI is horrendous. Just make a normal list. Fully agree with everything else.
There needs to be some sort of hybrid spawns, especially on larger maps. It sucked when playing a big map game mode when your options were spawn into the middle of a gun fight or spawn and run for half the map to get to the gunfight. Likewise, using one player as an anchor to spawn on behind enemy lines sucks. There's nothing quite as annoying as spending a quarter of a match looking for one dude tucked away in a building letting his team spawn on him so you're consistently getting shot in the back trying to advance to where the other team should be.
If you want fun, fast-paced gameplay with a lot of freedom of movement, don’t buy. If you like crouch walking, if you like to ADS around every corner and feeling like every match is a 100k tournament, this game is for you.
I think an easy change that would be a great addition to the improved audio is players that don’t move cough once every 2 seconds (x seconds). A counter audio cue for the aggressive play styles against passive play styles.
the only reason people slide canceled originally was for more tac sprint, but then people kinda figured hey u can shoot and aim while doing this so it’s better in just every scenario.
I’ve enjoyed the beta, the only thing I really hope is they raise the TTK and it doesn’t feel like I’m playing HC if I get 1 headshot.. They raise the TTK and I’m having a blast, more-so than any MP since MW19 was first released
I do agree with TTk but t thexclusiveace made a video about TTk and this game sits right in the middle, if anything I feel like the TTK is in consistent
They just need to tone down the HS damage, the TTK against the chest is pretty good. It's much better than mw2019 imo, in that game deaths were instant and you'd never receive hit markers, Ive survived more gunfights in the MW2 beta than I did the entire time I played mw2019 lol
You briefly mentioned Vanguard's pacing system, I actually didn't mind that system. It was fun to curate my experience, but was ultimately let down by the dwindling playerbase of Vanguard. I'd love to see this return eventually
Its always great coming back to these kinds of videos seeing how they somehow set a bar even lower than the last game. Infinity ward really shouldn't make games until a change in management occurs
Not being able to shoot and slide is definitely something to get used to, probably the most clunky feeling thing to me tbh. Also not being able to reload cancel feels weird but I'm already getting used to it.

@@Kai2times nah. Having loud footsteps on Wz is a good thing. And if DMZ is like EFT it will also be good to have loud footsteps there. In an arcade shooter that cod mp is supposed to be, loud footsteps makes everyone want to play ratty which ruins gameplay. Playing Ratty isn't a bad thing for dmz or wz.
Thanks for giving some solid feedback to actually try to make this game the best it could be. I hope IW and Activision have some creative integrity left, but I think they’re uninspired sell-outs and are catering to what they think they’ll profit from. If someone doesn’t like the game, put your money where your mouth is and don’t buy it. Otherwise Activision learns nothing and the cycle continues.
The spawn camera fly in for some reason wasn't in Hardpoint and I feel like Hardpoint played so much better than any other respawn modes due to instant spawns. I really enjoyed my time playing Hardpoint.
@@DeinosAres I never played Vanguard but I do play and have played abou 5 days of cold card. The longer TTk does help out a bit to avoid getting instantly deleted. You can't react and that's annoying. Weapon shake is annoying too. They need to towned it down. A Ninja Perk would be very welcomed too
It’s crazy although there was boosting back then but when we had bo2 tactical insertion in the tactical area and not field upgrade Ontop of fast hands bad spawns were truly never a problem with me
I just dont care for the slower movement. Slide cancelling doesn't need to be added BUT the base movement speed should be increased IMO. It feels way too much like Battlefield to me. Won't be purchasing in its current state but if they tweak some things who knows. Not worth $70 to pre-order at the moment.
15:09 THIS! Can't tell you how many gunfights I lost just because the enemy got a lucky headshot on me. And adding the netcode/hitreg issue in the mix makes it 10x times worse.
As a gamer that has played since COD 4, this movement is great. The ones complaining are the wanna be 'Movement demons'. This is straight gun skill now.

We had a lot of the same issues when mw2019 launched, we had a compass instead of a mini map, foot steps where way louder, I'm enjoying the game so far a lot of good things happening
I agree on all this! I enjoy the graphics and like the new game modes introduced. I hope they do with this what they did back in 2019 and boost movement by 5%, feels a bit sluggish compared to MW2019. I hate the full reload with no cancellation. UI - just give us what we had in 2019 with updated style but same format. It worked great and still could! TTK is way too fast. I didn’t even think about taking out headshot multiplier. I’d prefer a slight damage reduction, maybe 12%? I also wish visibility was better. Idk if it’s my monitor or the game, but everyone is talking about it so I think it’s safe to assume it’s the game. Yeah, just adjust lighting or make character fidget a bit more. Thank you for this, JGOD!
It will be a hard and long way not only to adapt to these new philosophy of the game but also to balance things out. Im not a fan of all these changes but we have to keep in mind that things like, high TTK, slow movement, no minimap will affect warzone and we have already see that Caldera with all its problems made ppl quit and go to Rebirth with more aggressive playstyle, respawns etc etc. Deep in my heart I believe Warzone-Rebirth island wont be totally abandoned ppl will continue play them cuase they have simply more fun there and this is a failure of a new released game no matter what. In the end of the day everything you mentioned JGod can be easily-ish change with a patch, we have to w8 and see. Just to spicy things up, getting 100 kills cant be compare to 30 kills, sweaty in both situations, . Either if you agree or not. Love you JGod
people dont even know why they slide cancel or what purpose it does, it makes you move faster because sliding twice restarts your tac sprint, but in this game dolphin diving once resets it so the players who know how to move fast are still going to
The cons of the game in my opinion is some maps are too big for 6v6 letting people camp and also since they don't have slide cancelling the movement is very basic all everyone will do is run as the slide is useless now and you can't aim at the same time so when in a gunfight u cant dropshot so no movement is involved
As a 19 year CoD 'veteran' I'm not buying. Pre order cancelled. Just wasn't any fun at all. Connection was main issue, if bad in beta, be worse at launch.
I enjoyed the beta over the weekend for sure. Some issues here and there. I really liked 3rd person, I wish they only made snipers ADS in 3rd person and the crosshairs just get tighter and more accurate instead of the jarring transition to 1st and 3rd person views.
I like how everyone was crying about no slide cancel and footsteps being too loud, both of which were fixed with tac sprint hopping that took about an hour to get used to. still a stupid movement but at least your gun is up on the tac sprint leveling the gunfight a little bit.
I’m honestly going to get it for the campaign, some S&D and some ground war. Leveling up weapons I’ll jump on hard point or Dom. The game was a refresh for me, something different that get the stench of vanguard off me. I’m sure that novelty will wear off cause MP has a short life span anyway. Between WZ, Raids and DMZ , those are the core game modes I will be focusing on when they drop instead of MP anyway so I’m not sweating it as much as other people are.
I imagine we'll have to wait in warzone:2 3 months till they will bump back the health to 300 minimum and announce it as a huge success. TTK now seems a bit mad in MW especially after they have nerfed the movement.
The game feels good. I love the footstep audio now.Ttk is a little high but I think that is because some of the guns are not balanced. I’m glad they took out slide canceling and kept bunny hopping. Bunny hopping gives you unlimited tac sprint though haha.
@@onemanarmy2593 a lot of the people that play other games, especially tactical shooters find that the footsteps are good since they heavily rely on audio cues in those games.

I couldn't even care about the ttk, it's just the "if I don't aim while crouchwalking and avoid wooden floors they'll hear me from 6 buildings over, stop pushing towards me and set up camp with 2 other people for the next 5 minutes"
Slice canceling definitely destroyed my controllers. They worked great and then I started playing mw2019 and since a play tactical, my sticks would start to drift. Since I stopped playing cod I don't have any problems with my new ones.
@@900mago simply put it used magnets and magnet sensors. The mod itself only costs a few $, if you have a soldering iron. If you don’t, a full soldering kit is only ~$20 on Amazon and gets you everything you need. except for the Hall effect joystick. If you’re not comfortable modding it, it is easier to just buy a Hall effect controller
The footsteps literally sound like someone running on a wooden floor above a basement with cement boots on. Absolutely ridiculously loud. They need to cut that back by at least half. I honestly don't care if there is a ninja perk (would be nice like in Vanguard) but as long as i'm not being soundwhored halfway across the map i'm good with how it is as a field upgrade. They really gotta do away with that animation delay though.
I found the MW2 beta better overall then MW19. 6V6 ON MW2 was way better and ground war is just amazing. That’s what got me in the MW19 beta and that’s what I played the most of on this MW2 beta.
Anyone else not even bother to use silencers anymore with the mini map change lol. To be a fly on the wall at IW when they check the suppressor usage numbers.
This game is a campers paradise. Movement is terrible, super loud footsteps, weird and bad perk system, I’ve played every single call of duty since cod 4 and I’m finally done giving them my money. All of the OG players should quit until they cater to us and not all the new players 🤷♂️
I feel like if they made the teammates more defined when they are in your line of sight would help a lot with the determination of friendly vs enemy. A larger more bold name tag on teammates only depending on how far away from your character model.
