Bro, i always get the death stare from park rats at my local because i ride an aztek siren and tilt bars. But i can front scoot, and they cant. And i can front 50 handrails, and they cant. My point is, having a big (and comfortable) scooter should be way more important than having the lightest possible scooter
No 😂 what works for you doesn’t work for other people. For park riders, having a big and heavy scooter is the worst thing for park tricks. It’s good for street, cause all you do is rails, ledges, and gaps. For park, having a really light scooter does make everything easy. Don’t think that because you can inward you’re “All-knowing”. Not to mention, the park vs street beef ended years ago so if you get the “death stare” from park “rats” it’s probably for a different reason. Likely because of how cocky you are. Half of the people at skateparks have super street scooters. It doesn’t matter what you ride, what matters is what works for you.

I'm a skateboarder but I totally dig scooters as well. I don't agree with the hate from skateboarders. Both skateboarding and scooters have their unique and awesome tricks. Their are lots of awesome tricks that just aren't possible on a skateboard. I've never rode a scooter before but I intend to pick one up soon. Any suggestions for a good mid-range priced scooter are welcome. PEACE LOVE UNITY RESPECT.

You probably already know about this but you can make the indoor gopro clips stay at 60 fps (or whatever you have it on) if you turn off auto low light mode
Personally, I think the 6 wide is better because the more of your foot you can get on the deck the more comfortable it would be to ride and you have more space on your scooter to land tailwhips and stuff
I ride a 5,5 inch deck and i would say that its more for kids 11-14 because some steet decks are heavy and just not ridable my deck weights too much (2kg) but its fells okay for me
Really want to get into scootering. What’s your weight, height, and shoe size? Any suggestions on what parts to start with? I’m 6 foot at 165 with us size 13 feet (tall skinny build) so I’m wondering if I’d have trouble putting my big feet on a small deck haha
MUGKID sorry I’m really late but ride a deck to how u wanna ride street or park that’s all that matters not how wide Ure deck is. Just remember to make sure Ure comfortable
Ayy how much is the 6 bones deck going to cost? Im 195cm tall and i have 10.5 (44?) shoe... i love riding realy wide and big decks. the 6" wide isnt eaven that heavy conpered to 5". I'm going for an ua deck because they have alot of footspace and because they're cheap (hope the 6" is cheap aswell). I just dont know if i should go for a 5 or 6 wide. Thanks
I ride ski but ive been trying bar spins and stalls for ages and i still cant do them (the reason why i ride ski it’s because i find all other foot positions unconfortable so i like the wider decks)
vETRYN Find a foot position. Don’t ride ski. Trust me, it will be hard at first, but eventually once you get used to riding goofy or regular, everything will come by much easier. You just can’t do intermediate tricks riding ski.
Josh T ive tried too but its weird i naturally air to the right but i do aur tricks to the left ski is the most confortable for me i keep trying and trying regardless i cant ride reg or goofy i still cant bar spin but i can back lip stall all of a suddon i need some tips on this because i lose my balance when i air left but not when i try bris wips or anything else air. The main question is can i get anywhere ruding ski?
vETRYN I know it’s weird. I’ve had similar problems but after a few months trying to get used to doing things the right way it works for the better. For beginner tricks ski will work fine for you, but once you get into intermediate tricks you’ll start to realize that you just can’t do them in ski stance, and you’ll have to work on riding properly. It’ll be a lot harder the longer you wait.
