With how many great devices there are out now I feel companies need to either make really good performing products for decent price (like the Odin 2 and RP4 Pro) or do something that makes it stand out (like the RGB30). This TrimUI just doesn’t impress me.
Does it feel a lot like a vita? I have a vita slim with the crazy mac retroarch build and i love the feel of the device. It's very comfortable and I love the clicky dpad and buttons (even though they're small.) For emulation I just wish the Vita were a little more powerful, so it could handle more SNES and GBA emulation.
Can you play cod zombies psp on it reliably? I know it's Linux not android does that prevent the ability to play cod mobile? I'm completely new to these types of devices and want a budget one to play shooters like cod mobile or cod zombies psp
I'd just get a Bluetooth controller and download a button mapping application on your phone for cod mobile. Theyre not going to perform as good for that as its more demanding in terms of ram and processing power
@@DaveyG Thanks for the reply. I really enjoy your videos. I'm definitely going to subscribe. Are you able to answer if the game is playable with a friend via wifi or lan? Also is the game in English and does it run pretty good?
Been looking into new devices they have out now a days since my old portable emulation machine, pspGo, recently broke. This does look nice, and price isn't to bad, thanks for the review!
I'm so tempted now but even the best have failed within days of use. Rather buy the type Control for the s23u but that nostalgia is priceless with modern flare, are the parts replaceable like some other ones
Someone took it apart and found the speakers are actually under the joysticks, hence the hollow sound leaks from the joysticks instead of coming out of speaker grills.
I am very tempted to buy one next month, replacement PSP batteries are not very good tbh I've been having trouble with charging them and they just die.
@@DaveyG I really like the screen but you can’t really upscale anything to that resolution with the chip inside and wide screen games are hit or miss on it as well so you can’t really use that awesome screen to it’s potential.
If it's Linux Moonlight and Chiaki should work on it, now can it decompress properly to perform well would be the test. I've ordered one. Going to check that when it gets here.
Dang dog I didn't look at my phone. I'd do Retroid Pocket 3+ but for PS2 none of these will play that device well. The RP3+ will be the closest contender for the PS2. Plus it can game stream on Android.
@@DaveyG what will be a good handheld under 100 dollars if I want to play a lots of different kinds of games but especially the fighting games and Pokemon like games ?
