Specify delay_mins=60 in the log_archive-dest parameter while setting it or by using dgmgrl edit database set property delaymins= 60

we can use this also to restore rman backups on different directory RMAN> run { # set newname for all datafiles to be mapped to a new path # OR use SET NEWNAME FOR DATABASE if you wish to have all files located in the same directory # eg. SET NEWNAME FOR DATABASE to '+DATA/inovadg/datafile/%b' set newname for datafile 1 to 'new file path and name'; ... set newname for tempfile 1 to 'new file path and name'; restore database; switch datafile all; switch tempfile all; }

Could you please give short hints of oracle licensing for Base products. What needs license and what included in the EE db. Pack that need added license? Is OEM needs a license? License types? Perpetual or yearly how to calculate cost.? Processor or PNU and when to go to one of them? Thanks in advance

Question: If control file is lost and there is no backup of the control file, somehow you have created it manually, but you given wrong redo log size i.e. lower than the existing redo logs size, will the DB open? if yes , what will be the redolog size?

Question: There is no Level 0 backup taken till now, and if i start incremental Level 1 backup, will it fail or proceed?if ifs proceeds can i use it to restore the DB with out level 0 backup?

it will.proceed and rman internally take level0 if not present as l0 is base for l1
