Requesting CHIPDROP for the first time? Here are some questions you may have: 1) What is ChipDrop? GetChipDrop.com is a FREE serqvice that connects people who want wood chips with arborists and tree companies that want to get rid of them. 2) If it is free, how do they make money? GetChipDrop.com is free to Home Gardeners requesting it. In fact, the company specifically says that if the arborist asks for payment we should let them know! Arborists, on the other hand, are charged a fee per truckload, which is how GetChipDrop.com makes money. 3) Is there an app? As of this writing (May,2024) there is NO app. It is just a website GetChipDrop.com 4) What if I want wood chips urgently? Flexibility in date/time is required - you can get the chips the same day or two months later. No telling when! There is an option to pay $20 and get it sooner. 5) What if I don't like the wood chips that were delivered? You cannot return wood chips!! You can only stipulate what you DON'T want when you order- eg. Some people (like me) don't prefer black walnut chips. You CANNOT specify what you DO want - or size of chips etc. you get what you get! Again, it's free!! For other FAQs visit GetChipDrop.com Have you ordered from GetChipDrop.com? If so, what was your experience?
I’ve never had a problem (Seattle area). It has always been great stuff. It makes sense to expect ground/chopped up chips from whatever grows wild in your area. I live in a condo so we have a place near the parking lot that works perfectly. I can’t imagine what a small home lot with a small driveway could hold.
Oh that has got to be some glitch in the system and your request got deleted. Either that or did you specify a lot of restrictions that they are unable to accommodate? I suggest you try again.
