@ninsophy9798 I'm not Italian but I definitely believe Italian is the music of love. Just Google and listen to Italian lyrics and tell me you don't feel it. I can't describe it to you.
@@LiaLuna96 "stolen"? Since people from all around the world come to America, include Italians, then what's wrong with American music having Italian material?
They dressed like this only just to spite Simone Pillon, an italian politician: homophobic, male chauvinist and racist.. who had made fun of them for how they dressed at the EMAs, "making italy look bad" etc and so they said they wore the bow tie then next time the "Papillon".
I love them but I wish theyd perform some of their Italian songs. These songs are great! And I understand its not their choice sometimes but it would be awesome to have them sing in their own language on the international stage!!
They sing their italian songs as soon as it's a performance with more than like, 2 songs though. I'm also a bit annoyed Americans lashed onto an old English cover other than, say, Zitti E Buoni, but now that they're being nominated for that song and it's a hit in the US it would make no sense not to sing it
agreed.. Stromae was recently on Jimmy Fallon and sang a song in French and it was great.. they could have sang one of their italian songs then, and I think the public would have loved it.
Because their in America where English is spoken mostly. That’s why they probably perform beggin a lot. Not to mention it’s the song that got them super popular internationally
They were absolutely amazing, however I don’t like the fact that Beggin’ and IWBYS are the only songs they get to perform. I know its not their choice most of the times, but I’d love to see them perform their italian songs like le parole lontane or in nome del padre. I think that they’ve changed a lot since 2017 and should be known for their newer songs.
@@karma6171 Sorry, gotta disagree. This is SO much better than the original. Frankie Valli might be able to hit about 6 octaves higher, but this guy can seriously rock this song!
I just found out about them today because somebody posted their X factor performance on Twitter, this is the perfect mix of rock and grunge ! His raspy voice is smooth and amazing !!
A quick message to american people : this cover is nothing special when compared to the songs written by them in italian ... those are actual and proper masterpieces. Here are some advices: Coraline, Vent'anni, Torna a Casa, La paura del buio, Le Parole Lontane, In nome del Padre. Take the opportunity to learn the beautiful and poetic language which italian is. I promise you wouldn't regret it.
I’m Canadian and beginner Italian language learner, but I could not agree more. I’m sure the songs chosen to perform on this show were based on accessibility. With that said I’m blown away by the poetry of their lyrics in many of their songs such as Torna a Casa. It’s because of Italian music I’m determined to become fluent in Italian. Grazie Maneskin and many others. My life is more beautiful because of you. Love to Italy from Van Isle Canada. 🇮🇹❤️🇨🇦
La Paura Del Buio is my favorite song and i wouldnt have found out about it if a friend didnt randomly run into it in an italian playlist . Its sad that their masterpieces are not getting the same recognition as their covers
He is literally the most charismatic singer ever. He owns the stage, perfect control of the voice. Respect maneskin unbelievable how good this band is. They will rock the world!
@@fulgenzio89 harry gravitates toward pop music more.. he only has so many songs that are rock/soft rock, besides when people think of rock they def don’t think about Harry😭.
A band with one of the best frontmen in recent memory. Can't take your eyes off that kid. Here's hoping even a fraction of the audience listens to-and discovers-the rest of the catalog.
I had a positive Covid test on Xmas Eve. I am vaccinated. One of the highlights of my quarantine has been discovering this group. I don't even know if the singer is even a good singer but he has what it takes to be a frontman. He is mesmerizing.
Last time I saw my mum, we were watching Manneskin winning SanRemo Contest together. My mum (79) was a huge fan, she told me to wake up her if she's sleeping. After few days she passed away (Covid). I love Manneskin, they are my mum last memory.
I think of Freddie Mercury sometimes when I'm watching Damiano on stage. Two amazing leader singers. If Freddie was alive he would be proud of Maneskin.
I love this song for years and I literally have not seen what they look like until two days ago and now I am freaking riveted I didn’t need it but I’m here for it
I can't believe that voice. The power and stamina it takes to sing that and the band as a whole. Real talent. I would need a halls cough drop during that performance. Imagine him singing in Italian. Do we have that anyone?
My opinion is that his voice is at its best when he sings in Italian (most of us change our voice a bit when we speak in a foreign language). Coraline and Torna a Casa are their masterpieces so far, although they don't really have any "skip" songs :)
Here's to you. Enjoy! With this song they won the Euro Song Contest last May: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RVH5dn1cxAQ.html. You know a band is huge when they "conquer" the American market ... playing in such an event is huge for an Europe band which started singing in their own language. This song is great however this would have been ever cooler if they got to sing in Italian! I hope American would be open enough to take the time to listen to their Italian songs which is what made them so unique and the reason people around the world started to like them. At least I can say it for myself living in South American (Brazil).
@@annaelle_stasia true, i think lots of people forget that they became famous because of winning xfactor italia, and then they represented italy in eurovision.. both of which weren't american competitions and most people performed in their own language
@@shadesofwhitee yes! And I prefer so much their Italian songs! I’m so sad because first they sing English songs, and second it’s not even their song but cover :(
Yes I totally agree with you 100% there Italian songs have so much raw emotion! I am from America and beginner in learning Italian and I agree. With them now being all over there will be a whole bunch of Americans who totally agree with this statement.(just like me)
Tenéis que llegar antes o después a los Grammyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!Ya lo veréis!!!Como la Rosalía!!!El talento está a mil por hora!!!!!!Valeeeeeeee!!!! Artistas!!!!!!
I wish Måneskin would perform “Zitti e buoni” in the United States, so that the Americans could see how and why they won Eurovision in 2021. They’ve definitely set the bar higher for the potential winners of this year’s Grand Prix in Turin in May.
Beautiful thing about the internet, we can watch it and more than likely have watched it. Something I think most non-Americans fail to realize is that we do hear about who won it and why.
What's ironic is that their first time playing a song on X Factor, the judges were really down on the drummer being week. This was like 4 years ago. They're all pretty young and I think he might be the youngest. I think he was just really nervous 'cause he seemed stronger on later songs in that season. He's certainly got it down now, though. They're all super-tight. The result of years of busking before X Factor.
Эти костюмы с бабочками - дань уважения Frankie Valli and four seasos, чей кавер живёт и популярен в 2021, и кто сами были детьми итальянских эмигрантов из Нью Джерси.
You all looked marvelous, i can't think of anybody else that can wear suits that fit and look so perfect and at the same time perform like this, congratulations. Love Maneskin
Put your loving hand out, baby 'Cause I'm beggin' I'm beggin', beggin' you So, put your loving hand out, baby I'm beggin', beggin' you So, put your loving hand out, darling Riding high, when I was king I played it hard and fast, 'cause I had everything I walked away, but you warned me then But easy come, and easy go, and it would end So, any time I bleed, you let me go Yeah, any time I feed you, get me? No? Any time I seek, you let me know But I plan and see, just let me go I'm on my knees when I'm beggin' 'Cause I don't want to lose you Hey yeah, ratatata 'Cause I'm beggin', beggin' you And put your loving hand out, baby I'm beggin', beggin' you And put your loving hand out, darling I need you to understand Tried so hard to be your man The kind of man you want in the end Only then can I begin to live again An empty shell, I used to be The shadow of my life was hanging over me A broken man that I don't know Won't even stand the devil's chance to win my soul
Suddenly the song became theirs. This is one of my Dad's fave songs and I still remember him playing this at home growing up. Now, I can't even remember the old version anymore.
True. This is just a cover/karaoke song by Maneskin. It was originally sang by Madcon in 2010: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zrFI2gJSuwA.html I have no idea why Maneskin is getting so much fame for a stolen song and no credit given to the original band?? Height of stupidity!
Hopefully yes. Their X Factor mentor said that he spent a night talking with them a short while ago and he found them incredibly GROUNDED and practical.
Then watch other live Performances of them. They are always awesome. For example Zitti e bouni at the Eurovision song contest (sadly the instruments are not live here because it is forbidden in the contest) Mamma Mia at the mtv emas La paura del buio at radio italia live (actually all songs they did there were great) For your love, lividi sui gomidi and in nome del padre at 1live (also the whole concert was great Than every single normal concert from them is just fire, they always try new things and keep everyone entertaint And finally Coraline and Zitti e bouni at San Remo 2022 live with Violins just awesome but hard to find a good quality video
I listened your song in March for the first time...And I'm obsessed. I voted for you in Eurovision. Now I'm a big fan. Guys, you're the best! Keep it up.We love you!🖤(From Azerbaijan 🇦🇿🖤🇮🇹)
They are mix of The Doors, David Bowie, The Rolling Stones. They reflect the soul of glam rock so well. I liked a new rock group after years. Great stage also.
No not even close to them, david bowie and those other singers has sometimes made hit after hut, if they want to be match with them thry have to step there game up because i haven't seen them make another smash
Wow is this generation about to have their own version of Queen "Freddie Mercury"???. First time seeing them performed and he reminded me of the late Freddie.
Not very often we find musicians sound as good as and even better than their recorded version. This is one of them. Salute! Edit : Of course i know all three versions since the 60's and even their lyrics take after Madcon's version, which is why it's called a COVER song not a stolen song, funny some comments called it that. So, When i said 'their recorded version', it just means Moneskin' OWN recording vs their OWN live gig. I am NOT comparing them to the original artists and Madcon, or even to a Japanese / other band. All versions are brilliant which is why the song is still popular today. So there's no need being triggered and all. Moreover, it's just a personal opinion. Cheers 🤟
@Burungcamar do you even know this is just a cover song? The original song was released in 2010 by Madcon: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zrFI2gJSuwA.html
