Great video, thanks for posting, as someone who is completely new to neo soul but would like to learn more am I right in thinking the neo soul sound is best played on semi hollow guitars? Sorry if this is this is a dumb question

1. Memorize the shapes. Get em down cold. 2. Apply shapes over chord progression. (play specific order or lick w shapes) 3. Try same lick in different key. 4. Repeat for rest of life while adding more licks and ideas to your repertoire 🔥
