Ballroom Blues, or Ballroomin’, refers to the sort of blues dance that developed in ballrooms and dance halls, danced predominantly to more melodic styles of blues played by the Big Bands of the Swing Era. Thanks to the spacious floors in such venues this style of blues tends to travel more, with more elegant lines and continuous momentum.
