I hope I don't offend anyone when I say I'm not "diverse"- I'm quite white. But I want my daughter to read books with diverse characters and lives different from ours. She and I really enjoyed Anna Hibiscus books. I've learned a lot from you!

Although I'm familiar with the other books thanks so much for introducing me to the Mya Tibbs and Ways to Make Sunshine 🌞. Those sound great. It seems as I've gone along in my parenting journey over the years I'm seeing the diversity of chapter books for our children get better and better. My younger kiddos have way more choices than my older ones.

She is so adorable Brittany! So much enthusiasm for learning and her books...so sweet! I think Larissa would love the Zoey Sassafras books...she loves science!
At my school we have a program called battle of the books and you reed books so you can go to these contests and one of the books we had to read was ways to make sunshine I love that book so much!!
