No seriously! I’ve been struggling with this my whole life too haha. I’m trying to be better at doing makeup that suits my Asian features. But sometimes it’s hard because I’m so used to American style makeup 😂
Love the tutorial! As a Chinese, I would like to add that in Chinese social media, this style of make up is called 网感妆容 which loosely translates to Make Up that looks good on Camera. Chinese Make up 新中式妆容 has a more natural finish, but takes inspiration from traditional Chinese styles. So you could say that Douying style is the Chinese version of Full Glam Make Up and Chinese Make Up us the Chinese version of clean girl makeup. 😊

this blew my mind. I've been searching for eyelid tape tutorials before buying it because I wanted to know if I could lift my slightly hooded eyes exactly like she did!! Never found anyone doing this. Now I'm just casually watching youtube to find someone finally showing how to do it. I'm definitely buying eyelid tape now

i love duyan makeup and really want to learn it but i have no makeup and i dont want to ask my mom to buy me some. i can try with her makeup but her shade is different than mines. wonderful video by the way.
I loved it so much! I tried douyin makeup a feel times, but something was always off, it was definetelly the face contour that wasn't strong enough and the matte finish wasn't so matte 😅 If I can ask you something, I noticed a lot of things changed in kpop idols makeup the last years, could you do a video on that? ahhh thank you for watching my tutorials!! (*꒦ິ꒳꒦ີ) hmm tbh there are a lot of factors that play into patchy foundation like the order in which you do your makeup, which products you're using, and skin prep..but tbh my foundation here got patchy too hahah it was my first time using this and it's super full coverage but didn't end up working well with my skin.. try mixing up your routine and see what ends up working! sometimes it's as simple as changing out the foundation you're using or using a different brush/sponge to blend!

Hi Jessica I been watching your videos for a while and I am wondering if you can do Korean/japanese makeup but for a teenager cause I don’t really use foundation and fake lashes. My classmates keep telling me I have Japanese feature but every time I try japanese makeup I messed up .
