Easy solar setup for grill kitchen. This is a basic explanation at the beginning, please go to the 4:36 mark if you want to see the test for induction. Two 100 amp hour Renogy smart batteries, 2000 watt inverter, 40 amp charge controller, 400 watts of solar all monitored by renogy one core. Can monitor it with Renogy app on phone.

nice set up! just like mine my 12v system) agreed with the other comment about the 12/2 wire for the outlets. if you want to power more of the house definitely get a 48v system. keep it up!

Looks great! The only thing that stands out for me is you should probably be running 12/2 wire from the inverter to your 120V AC outlet. the 14/2 has the max wattage of 1800 watts, 12/2 is 1920 watts, but the run is short so you're probably okay!

Maybe I missed it, but what is the size of charge control ? This is the exact size I was thinking about for little cabin in Northern AZ, except, I was going to use 3- 200 watt panels. Thanks !!

This is a 40, if you are going with 600 you will need a 60 watt, believe the 40 only takes 520 max solar input.

@Ms.Frankenbuilder Thanks...hmm seems like a bit much, maybe I'll back off 1 panel, with the option of adding it later.

The 2000w upside down is driving the ocd side of me crazy. Why make it all perfect aside from that?!

🤣🤣 That's the side I wanted the wires going out on.

Wow, what a clean install! Was the reason to install solar there just so you didn't have to run power outside? Or is everything off grid? I'll bet anything you cook out there tastes better knowing the electricity to power it was free! :)

We do have power run out from the main house for the AC when we use it during summer. Last year I decided to keep a little more money away from the power company and living in Florida tropical weather knocks our power out quite a bit.😄
