Thanks Jim, Excellent variation of the walt's worm. I love watching your imagination work. Keep it up. I use half my night watching videos, and the other half making the bugs I like to make that I have seen. All the best Jim, I can't wait until later. I got a bunch of new materials that I can't use until today. My birthday today Dec. 16! Older today. Sean

Thank you Jim, love your videos. How about ending a video with a picture of your fly in action? Casting, in a fishes mouth... just an idea, would be nice to see the man behind the hands. Wishing you a good Holliday Sir.

Hi Russell My favorite way to fish is dry flies. For dry flies the fly that has produced more and bigger fish for me would be a size 14 Griffith's Gnat. I do like to match the hatch also, caddis are another of my favorites. Anything that has a low profile stuck in it's shuck type flies are best in my opinion. As for nymphs I try to do the same impressionistic flies. But some of my favorites are the prince style. A Livelylegz Hare's Ear prince has worked great for me, also LL pheasant tail prince and the Fancy Prince, there is something about the yellow tail that triggers the bite.

So no lead wraps? Do you dead float this like you would a scud or nymph?
@TheFlymanJim

+Arkansas Red You can use lead if you want. I plan on using this in the smaller part of my river where it's not needed. Yes just dead drift when fishing.

Most certainly that is what the original is made with.
