My favorite teacher for short game . Yes all the scoring is done in the short game .

You are doing just fine. Keep up the hard work...chipping and making good contact is the right place to start. Look up Erica Larkin. She has a great set of videos related to the feels you need for a good swing and keep having fun on your journey.

Golf has a huge learning curve. Not sure where you live but I know I need to start practicing in the winter at a Golf Dome or indoor simulator because I get super rusty over the winter months in Ohio.

I’d love to be able to go to a golf dome to practice but I don’t think we have one around where I live. 😌

When you open the face to get the bounce to work open the club like 1 deg then open your stance to the left . Aim your feet hips shoulder to the left until the club come back in line with target . You might have to open even more with stance .

Opening the face and learning how to adjust the stance is the toughest thing for me to understand in chipping.
