Thank you for the great video. When you were mixing with red pigment ( may be bengara) why the color of the Urushi was dark ? Did you work it with a spatula first ?

Dear Master san, thank you very much for your detailed and helpful explanations. Is the color of the substrate has effect on the final color of the item after urushi implementation? For example if I am implementing red urushi on black pen, what will be the effect comparing to red urushi on red pen? Thank you.
