Yotricks I have a question I was able to sleep my yoyo at first But now my yoyo is not sleeping at all when I throw it,it instantly comes back to my hand can you tell me how to fix it please. Thank you!
I used to watch this channel 4 years ago and loved it. So because of you guys I got really good at yoyoing I got into the school's talent show. Not to brag but I was one of the most entertaining performers on the stage. Even to this day I still have people ask wait aren't you the kid that did the yoyo stuff cuz that was so cool what you did.
Just got my spire and can barely perform a throw and catch and yeah I've got it to bind about 50% of the time, but!!! The important thing is it's so addictive it's like that love has returned from when I first learned 1A so thank you for these videos and thanks for recommending the spire I truly love it
Would love an overview on the yoyo you have in this video! It looks very good for modern offstring tricks. Very excited for new 4a videos if this is the start of that
I bought a 5A yoyo and just realized this video is 2 months ago... So now I'm hyped But saddly I forgot every trick I knew when I learned from you guys a few years back
I love offstring even if I can only do a handful of tricks. 1a is fine and I can never seem to get good at the 5a catch (still trying though) but 4a was always just so intuitive for me.
Hi, yo tricks! So recently, I bought a spire, off string yo-yo and I’ve really been enjoying it! So, I really wanted you guys to do a tutorial on a DNA because I searched a tutorial for this on RU-vid for a very long time but I couldn’t find anything😢 so can you do a off string tutorial on it please?
so ive never yoyo'd before but i have used a diabolo quite extensivly, can you use some of the speed ups for this yoyo so you can keep it spinning without starting over?
Not really. Definitely not any unresponsive yoyo. It will work on some responsive yoyos, but it is difficult to find one with the gap dialed in perfectly for the bind to work well.
An unresponsive yoyo will not work. Some responsive yoyo can, but usually not so well. None will work nearly as well as an offstring yoyo because they don't have their gap width set for unresponsive play.
There's a lot of similarities. With diabolo, you can regenerate on the string. With 4A, a regeneration involves return and re-throw, which I think they covered in another video that's older bit still good. You can definitely do orbits and cat's cradle/spiderweb type tricks, as well as grinds. Whips can be done too. Are you playing fixed axle, 1-way or triple bearing? Do keep in mind yoyo bearings are free spinning.
I picked up Diabolo after 4A, there are some cross-skills. For whatever reason 1A never clicked with me, so I feel like Diabolo, offstring, and spintops sit in their own category from the rest which I prefer those three to other types of yoyos.
Offstring is kind of half diabolo, half yoyo - in terms of the skills it requires. Some skills like orbits cross over with little to no extra practice, but offstring yoyoing really shines in its regenerations, open string binds, and come of the more complex tech. I would say your skill with a diabolo will make learning all the fundamentals a breeze, but there is also a lot of divergence once you get into the deeper skills of each.
@@Studio42dotCom-Real what I've got is a very old Yoyojam Aquarius and a new YoyoY Ghost Orbit. Very different! Surely a fixed axle yoyo is just a small diabolo.
The Aquarius is okay for getting started, but most offstring yoyos now are quite a bit larger which makes learning tricks a lot easier. Most stores still carry the Flight which is excellent, or if you are able to order from us the Spire yoyo in this video is a huge step up even from the Flight.
I want to learn with a off string but the only area close to me that I have available to practice has a concrete floor do you think it would break since im obviously gonna be dropping it
I doubt the yoyo will break, but it will get scratched up if the floor has that gritty texture to it. If it is more of a smooth concrete I believe you will be fine.
@@yotricks Thanks for responding but sadly it is very gritty Edit: I think there could be another spot I could practice if I were to get one. That yoyo that you are using what age group is it made for? Like older People, teenagers, or kids?
my spire yoyo broke. the bearing got jammed and it wont spin and the screw is flipped and in really tight so i cant unscrew the screw to use the tool to get the bearing out.
I just wish I had higher ceilings in my house I don't like throwing offstring outside because most of my free time ends up being early morning when the grass is still wet from the dew and I'm not trying to make my bearing rust
I really wish bro would just do a pov version pf these tutorials since the front side doesn't help us to accurately visualise how the truck is supposed to be performed , i tried this for 1 day and a half after buying my first 4A YoYo and the throw and catch was so frustrating i smashed my 4A yoyo , thank you for nothing
off string is more muscle memory than anything in my experience I don't need to actually think of every step in order to learn a trick like I do with other styles, with offstring I can simply keep trying a few times until I get it without much thought. it's what makes it so fun for me if that helps so don't let it intimidate you it's a ton of fun and relatively easy
We remake videos when we feel like the old video needs replacing because we have learned more about how the trick is done and we believe we can teach it better. At the same time, we do typically wait to remake a video that needs remaking until we have the right yoyo to teach it.
I want to choke my brother out for stealing my string and using it for whatever and losing it like nah got a perfectly good yo-yo with no string and you didn't have any permission to go into my room in the first place so I'm pissed😡😤
