I don't know why but i can't solve it. I've tried it like 5 times already, but i keep messing it up in the final step. I end up solving the yellow part but messing up everything else
CUBING 365 Unless you learn how to solve the corners of the first layer intuitively, which he should show in a video of how to get better at beginner’s Method, and it’s actually what TheSergsB shows in his beginner’s method tutorial. You just insert them intuitively by moving the corner out of the way, bring the top up, and then put the corner in the slot & bring the slot back down. It also affects the 2nd layer. Instead of taking the corner out with a sexy move after you move the edge out of the way, you do R U’ R, but it’s obviously taught intuitively. Then you rotate and do the inverse of sexy move again, but the mirror, but it’s actually just the intuitive insertion (moving the edge out of the way is the first inverse sexy move, but it’s not taught as one). However, all of this is actually with the cross on the top, but it doesn’t matter because you can always just do it with the cross on the bottom.
Hey, so after watching a couple of your videos throughout 1 day…2 days later, I can now solve in an average 2-3 minutes every time. I’m 35 and had never solved one before so I’m hyped lol
His video titles 'Learn how to Solve a rubiks cube in 10 minutes for begginers' or something like that is SO useful. Its on a playlust on my account called 'actually helpful' i think @miransalih1079
here is how to scramble the cube to get the same cube state as jperm: F2 U' F2 L2 D2 U' F2 D U2 R2 U' L' U' L' U2 R B D U2 B *GUIDE:* F = Front face R = Right face L = Left face U = Up face D = Down face B = Back face you can see its a letter for each face according to the first letter of the face side F(or any other turn) with a 2 after it means turn 180 degrees any direction, as it would yield the same result if it has an apostrophe after it, its a counter clockwise 90 degree turn if its just the letter alone, its a clockwise 90 degree turn
I've just began watching your videos yesterday, and now I can solve 3x3 and 2x2 properly with the beginning method. I also watched some other tutorials and yours, up until now, are way better than any other I've stumbled upon. At first I felt that you spoke too fast, but then I started looking for other tutorials and, man, people really don't know how to teach things on the internet... Congrats, I'm watching it all again to try to systematize the 4 moves and the U, R, U', L, U, R', U', L' to my 9 years old nephew.
This is excellent tutorial, as usual. Why are so many people who now know more advanced methods are cringing about it. I dare say that it would take a couple of years of constant practice to be sub 30 but I don't have the time. I'm just happy that I can confidently solve it.
Hi J, watching your beginner's tute I could now solve cube. Today is the second day. Can you tell me how many days/times should I practice this before resorting to faster algoes? Thanks a ton already.
@@sahilrizvi6583 thanks. can you suggest if 1 hour of daily practice is okay to take me to sub 50 sec in a couple of months? I am also 50 years old, mind that too.... I have started learning oll algos starting from today, it will not be easy!! Give me a practical encouragement and direction!!
@@topseda well, yes definitely. The more you practise, the more familiar you will become with the patterns and you will be able to recognise them faster. Getting under 50 seconds will not be hard at all with practise. I suggest you start learning fingertricks. Once learnt, they will reduce your time dramatically. To make your cube faster, you can lubricate it. For under 50 seconds , 2 look OLL is more than sufficient(7 algs). You dont have to learn all the algs. I average 20 seconds and i myself dont know all the OLLs lol. The important thing is not necessarily to learn new stuff, but to get better at the stuff you already know. That includes practise solves. Id say the most imp thing right now is just practise solves. Keep solving the cube as many times as you can(after learnimg fimgertricks and lubing your cube if its slow) . You could also see specific videos on how to improve your cross, maybe learn F2L etc but If you want to get under 50 1. Solve as many times as possible 2. Learn fingertricks 3 lube your cube to make it faster(if your cube is slow) Trust me. You WILL become faster. Its impossible not to. Especially at your time range, where there is so much room for improvement. It might take time, but if you dont give up, i promise you will get under 50 secs :)
@@sahilrizvi6583 Thank you so much for your practical suggestions and motivations. For me, I understand practice (solves and algos) with correct fingertricks (which I have to pick up somehow) are the key. I will try my best to keep doing it for 2weeks is my next goal and take it from there, and I use a MF3RS and just ordered a MF3RS2 yesterday. Hope it would suit my fingers. Will get back. Love. Happy Sun(e)day.
Remember to *always* complete the four moves. It's really important that you finish them, you can't stop on the 3rd move of the 4 moves. Also, make sure you're moving the top layer, and not rotating the cube.
Okay, I have solved it using this technique for months. All of the sudden I can't do the last step! Help, I'm not doing anything different. Following through with a 4 moves and only turning the bottom row to do next corner. I am stumped with why it's not working anymore. Anyone know?
@@danweil8802 so one of my corners flipped out of place - I finally figured out when I got all but one piece right. Somehow in the constant messing it up, maybe too hard by one of my kids or me. I thought I was going mad. Or some sort of Flowers for Algernon regression situation LOL
I got strait yellow cross but the thing is that the strait yellow on the top has anotherr edge means I should place one more edge to get yellow cross but that the last edge when I apply as u said it is no being yelooy cross
I don't understand I'll get to the last two corners to solve and I'll do the four steps until they're solve turn the bottom layer go to solve that corner and everything is jumbled up again its happened 3 times now I got the 1st 2 layer down pat
I have the rubics cube super long algorithm stuck in my head, and I’d like to learn this way to eventually learn all the other much faster ways because it’s just more efficient. But for some reason my brain won’t retain any of this information and it’s driving me crazy
J Perm Thanks! Another quick question. I just received a “speed cube” I ordered from SCS and it’s the Little magic 3x3x3, I feel like the pieces are super loose and every turn they get caught and I feel like they are gonna break off, is that normal? Or can I thighten them?
I follow the method and get a fully white bottom but the 4 pairs of 3 colours don't line up at the first layer do you know why this is am I missing something?
What doe i do when two colors a flipped but dont match with the center next to them to the left or right like with yellow and blue with yellow at green center and blue at orange center I accept time stamps ghat explain this
Sins Pride slow the RU-vid video right down using playback speed and you will be able to see. He just keeps repeating the four moves until the bottom right square is done.
hey man, i came from your tutorial video and i hope you read this, but whenever i try to do the final step when solving the yellow edges it when i finish all of them they just go all messed up. i dont know whats happening please help me.
Anybody please help, I have seriously been doing the matching corners for the longest time but I always get three or two right, and then I don’t know what to do, please answer!
I was able to solve cubes using this method but it seems that it might not always work for me. I can do everything until the last stage then I get it two unsolved pieces on opposite corners. I can then do the algorithm to solve the bottom segment then turn the whole bottom then solve the next corner but then the other sides - which have been "magically" solved other times I have done it - aren't solved. Can anybody help?
I still can't solve the cube. I keep watching the tutorial video do figure out the solve the cube part but it just does not work. I thought this video might work but it didn't. Can you please explain the solve the cube part in the tutorial so I can solve the cube?
This still looks confusing to me due to the way you move corners around but I thInk I got most of it (I came from the tutorial). I understand the concept of the white face and matching crosses but I still struggle with the edges.
Ok, I get to the very last step where I need to flip the corners that are in the correct positions but it eventually screws up my cube econ when I'm doing the correct algorithm, what am I doing wrong?
@@lightningdev1 I did only turn the bottom layer counterclockwise after each completion, and it would eventually solve the yellow side but everything else gets mixed up
When you turn it look for a corner thats not solved, lets say its at the back (left) then turn 2x its not just counterclockwise you need to have an unsolved corner in the front right
