No. All EVs have a 12v battery as well as the traction battery (which is typically 400v lithium). The 12v battery powers lights, wipers, ECUs as everything is standard 12v like all other cars.
The radio was already fitted, including a built-in disc player - wow. However, as I'm tall, it restricts my legs to some extent. After initial doubts, my wife is now a fan of this car!
