It honestly crushed my soul that you kept saying “I'm not an artist”, because what else makes someone an artist if not making art? It doesn’t matter the talent level, or the medium of art. You don’t even have to earn a living from it. You just have to create. You my friend ARE an artist…. if you want to be one.

This, i recently read a post by an artist answering ppls questions. One was, “do i have to be successful/ make money to be an artist?” The artist’s answer was something like do you make art to just make money? Or do you make art to because you love to make art? If you do it because you love making art then your an artist. You dont have to be successful or make money to be an artist. Its hard to remember that sometimes or some dont realize you dont have to be this legendary skilled at art or be making bank or massively popular to call yourself an artist. Ive been trying to unlearn myself from the thinking of i need the above mentioned things to call myself an artist.

Not only are you an artist, but you are a teacher as well. I love your style and your use of color. I really appreciate how you explained the basics of Procreate! I took a few graphic design courses in college almost 10 years ago and loved it, but I feel like a bit of a dinosaur as I'm still using the same tools as I used back then. I'm an art therapist, so graphic design isn't my primary focus, just something I love. I'm so excited to try Procreate!

I have an android atm but I really want the new iPad Air 5 and I’m saving for that + an apple pen 2 got like £200 to go and I want procreate so bad now because ibis paint sucks. I'm very new to using procreate (literally a week ago) and this video has helped me a lot! The only thing I'm having an issue with is dragging the color to my drawing so that it can fill it all in without me having to color it in. Not sure if having a stylus pen for my iPad instead of the apple pencil has anything to do with it.

Hii!😊❤ How many gigabytes of storage do you recomend in an ipad? Or how much is yours? Im thinking of buying an ipad and i dont know if 256 is enough or if i should go for the 512 gb just in case. Or maybe 256 with external storage? I would be veeeery thankful if you or anyone has any advice ❤❤❤😊

I’m guessing you don’t need the advice anymore but just in case you or anyone else does- it really depends on what you are using it for. If you are more of a causal artist, you probably won’t need more than 256 unless you plan to keep all of your art on the iPad. Even if you need more, external storage is always a good way to go in my opinion because you can adjust to your needs over time and it feels safer than keeping everything on the iPad anyways. If you’re doing animations or any kind of video editing, it’s probably better to go with the 512 and use external storage as well since those take up much more space. I’m a casual artist and never needed more storage until I started using my iPad to edit RU-vid videos as well- so that’s just my experience with things!
