THANK YOU very much for this video examination/explanation. We have just acquired the box set of Dragonbane and the information you have given will speed our understanding. Stay well, stay safe...Helen with Kat and Terri with Robyn
Nice! Miro works surprisingly well for it! And I have not even started to use all the hyperlink stuff where you can basically make like interactive maps which is really cool.
I will probably at least use it in my series "Sol0neshots" where I will play episodic adventures using different systems! I also used Dragonbane in my "Mythic GME tutorial" series part 3 where I used mythic to play the core adventure (or the first mission) with mythic
hello :) is there a good app to use on pc for arranging your documents and images like in this video please. where you get to put text over the top. looks great. and I don't suppose you know the name of that font from the top of your head. looks great too. thanks for great videos. im just considering whether to try out solo rpg'ing
Well the app I am using is called Miro, and it has worked well for me so far. And the font is inside that app and it is called Permanent if I remember correctly.
Haha now you hit me to a nerve because this is a subject that I would really like to make a multi hour video about. But in summary, I don't see tabletop roleplaying games as social games, sure they have a social aspect in them, but are not the same. Just solo players existing is proof of that. There are also people who only play TTRPGs because of the social aspect so I am not meaning to take away that experience from the people it is a very fine reason alone to play TTRPGs. PS. The term "social" is also a really wide term that can be interpreted in many ways. Just reading the rules that someone has written can be deeply social experience. Even tho the expression goes only into one way.
I kinda made it myself. It has been created by random map generator called watabou.github.io/ But there are ways to effect on what kind of map comes out.
