Beginner's Speedsolving: F2L (Tutorial) 

Completed edge pair example; 1:10 Sledge hammer move 4:27 3 different types; #1- 1:47 opposite colours on top( with white on the top layer, but not facing upwards) , algorithm 2:49 #2- 3:09 both colours facing upwards #3- 5:00 corner piece has white facing up Different Cases; 6:34 both pieces are in their correct slots but not in the correct orientation 7:09 edge piece is correct but the corner piece is in the wrong orientation 7:49 edge piece is correct but the correct corner piece is on the opposite corner & the pairs aren't correct 8:18 pairs are together but not matched up correctly ( 1 side has matching colours) 8:56 pairs are together but not matched up correctly ( colours are crossed) 9:15 pairs are together but there is a white facing up

different colour edge and corner: 2:18 same colour: 3:11 white corner on top: 4:56 sorry this is just time markers for if like me you’re practicing and you keep forgetting how to do em!

The three "types" 1:47 white on inside band, top color mismatch 3:02 white on inside band, top color match 4:54 white facing up Tips 6:40 pieces in correct slot, wrong orientation 7:45 edge in right place, corner facing upwards 8:19 two pieces together, not matched up correctly Hope this helps! I have now done F2L over 50 times in 24 hours, lol! Thank you! I truly thought I would never get this concept. Thankfully, I was wrong. Thank you again. :) Now bad for a guy in his late 50's. Now, I can see my goal of solving the cube in under 1 minute. My best now before F2L/CFOP is always at 3 minutes. Best 2:24...with beginner method. Thanks again. It never to late to learn something new like cubing. I was so sick of chess. 35 years of it...needed a break. Peace!

Out of all the instructions I’ve looked up, this is the only one to actually explain it in an understandable way

at 5:16 you can do a "sledgehammer" move to insert the edge then make sure that white is on the top of the cube, and above the red/blue edge and to a triple sexy move to insert the edge and corner This is easily the best f2l/cfop method by far!! this is actually helping me a whole load more than any other youtuber has. thanks :)
