Beginner School Band Instruments Overview | Which One Should I Play? 

You must be a percussionist because you played the bells and the snare drum really well

I joined the school band when I was in 4th grade. I began to play the drums from 4th grade to 6th grade. I strewed off with bells, but I didn’t like it because I liked the drums better. I’ve been a drummer in school in both 5th and 6th grade in the school band. I still play the drums, but I don’t play in the school band anymore because I take drum lessons once a week. I learned how to play the saxophone in 6th grade because I wanted to learn a second instrument. My middle school band director taught me how to play bass clarinet because I thought it was a cool instrument and I had a friend who used to play it. I am now a freshman in high school, and I am almost a sophomore. I am planning to learn how to play the trumpet. My band director told me that he has to clean all the trumpets in order for people to use them.

I knew immediately you played the percussion (bells, drums, e.t.c.) when you started playing the bells. My first band teacher was actually a percussionist btw.

When I first went into ks2 like 9 years ago I started with the Sousa because my family had enough money to buy me one, I can remember that everyone was saying “hey you are you going on holiday?” Or something like “he’s going on holiday!”

You should play clarinet because you are really good at it but at the end you said not a woodwind. And also I play flute

I've heard in some places band starts in 3rd, but where I live, it starts in 5th. Well in Golden Meadow atleast. Edit: In Golden Meadow, we have baritones and tubas. French Horns, but no Bassoon. I'm playing the Trombone.
