Oh my gosh....what is all that motion in the green quilt? SPECIAL SPECIAL SPECIAL....it is moving....incredible illusion in the sea of green...I can not take my eyes off of it...I may have to make a box of minty green julep white AND dark chocolate truffles!....I just love that green quilt! I am in a pinch for a candy bar right now, so be it, Pistachio nuts and some shredded sweet coconut rolled in milk chocolate...can't get that beautiful green quilt out of my head, good I have some green pistachios and CHOCOLATE!
Even throw its 3 years old I got thinking why can't I use the same size pattern you use but use left over fabric from other projects. I want to try and see what it looks like. I love your pages your teaching is grate thank you
I love the examples showing how different this quilt looks depending on the color choices and the direction the pattern is laid out. I especially loved the black & white & red quilt!!!
I thought I'd type out the list of your older videos you recommended we follow to finish this project....for my own benefit and for then benefit of others: ~ Beginner Series 1-5 ~ To add the borders, including the stop border, go to "Better Borders" posted January 2019 ~"Putting the Layers Together" (There are actually two videos on putting the layers together, one using the wall technique, (Posted March 22, 2019), the other video is for outside on a fence (Posted Sept ember 2013.) ~ "Off the Wall" video. (Posted December 2020) Taking it off the wall, to the table, to prepare for quilting. ~ Review "Machine Quilting 101" if you're going to try quilting it yourself. Note: He said you might not want to attempt that if you're just learning piecing. ~ There are two videos on binding your quilt layers. The last one was posted January 2020. ~ Review the "Back to Basics" posted September 2019.
