Student has good natural athletic ability. My wife was like this as well and learned really fast. I showed her this video to remind her of the early days :)
These videos are very helpful! As a new player im watching them 2 or 3 times. I don't get a lot of time to practice but when i do, I'll watch them again!
Thanks for these videos. Since i have been playing tennis since i was a kid around 8 or 9, and now 20 years later, still playing as much as i can, cant play as much as i used to since im always busy, but i love playing. Im glad i found these videos, since it can help me rebuild my fundamentals. Since i still have certain things that I still need to work on.
Love watching these! And she definitely is a beginner, and that is very helpful to me coz i am too and i can see exactly the way beginners play and the mistakes they unknowingly make. Best wishes to you both from India❤️
She is doing so good! I did notice that she was not doing the looping motion on her groundstrokes and was reverting back to the back and forth motion. I'm really impressed though!
Aprende rápido, ella hace natural lo que a muchos nos cuesta y es ver la bola en todo momento sobre todo justo cuando está golpea la raqueta. Cómo hace Federer. Es excelente
Nice to see someone with a natural ability, I hope that she keeps it up and becomes proficient I'm as stiff as a plank and and envy here flexibility, The coahc also ahs a comfortable way about him, which certainly does make a difference
Hello sir where are you from? Do you have a tennis training instituiton for beginners ,I am interested in training ! Do you recruit players from Asia too? How can we contact you?
I'm struggling to do a proper rally...I keep hitting the ball towards the extreme ends of the court..the coach is frustrated with me and is sarcastic and makes fun of me at any chance he gets. I'm almost on the verge of giving up now! 😭😭😭 Hope I get it someday though.
Yeah she's not a beginner she hits the ball hard sometimes you can see it and and a beginner's not that consistent too consistent.. you can fool the fans but you can't fool the players !
Watching from her first appearance it's clear she was a complete beginner, but it's SHOCKING how fast she's picking it up. Kudos to her for being an excellent student and to you for being an excellent coach.
She learns very fast indeed, but most importantly she's really enjoying playing tennis - enjoying those small achievements as if they were a flight to the moon :) that's so cool!
She seems to be a quick study. Still, I have to commend you on your teaching. I'm much, much older and have only been playing since January (2020). I wish I had a teacher like you--truly an excellent example of how to learn the right way. Living in a foreign country, and studying a new language, my learning has been exclusively trial and error. Congratulations to you both!
She is insane for her third lesson. I had my third lesson today and I am SOOOO far away from her, it's almost funny. (It is in a group, but I'm not making that an excuse) Rushing is definitely my biggest problem, though. There was one point where I realised how much I was actually rushing - running towards the ball and hitting it while still moving. I then chilled out, and hit the ball back from the baseline. I didn't even have to move, really! When you struggle to judge the ball, it's really hard to keep your calm, I gotta say.
she's a beginner genuinely was doing a forehand wih two hands in the first lesson but she's doing such good progression in very short time she has a decent understanding of position and very impressive footwork for a beginner she's talented and well predisposed for tennis, from what i can see se has an athletic body so she got some sport/gym background which is quite helpful for a good coordination.
Watch her other videos and you’ll see she never played. This is the benefit of receiving real instruction from a good coach at the start to remove bad habits quickly and enjoy rapid guided progression.
I'm just starting to play tennis, and this channel helps me progress... Anna's is amazing, and its easy for me to learn from her progression. keep IT up with her! great content, Best series of videos to learn tennis from! thank U
As an instructor (ski-instructor) it's a lot of fun to see Anna play. She seems to be having fun and you can see that she mindfully applies every tip she's getting. She must be a joy to train
Thanks for this video. I've been teaching my partner to play, and those corner rallies are the perfect next step for improving her ground strokes. So now I'm double invested in this series, firstly to see how your student improves, and secondly to get ideas for teaching my own beginner.
It’s important to let the player learn for themselves. Teaching this was allows her to actually play tennis. You can swing beautifully but the ball goes 1 million miles long and at that point are you really playing tennis? That’s essentially baseball. In tennis we want to hit and move, anticipate the next shot, and hit and move. The body will learn to swing more effectively just as you and I learnt how to walk without instruction. :)
I notice that you immediately start playing with real tennis balls with the beginner (you don't use softer, easier ones). Is that your preferred way of doing it? What about with kids?
I started tennis as a completely a beginner So on second or third day our coach Took rally first day was only forehand and backhand i was very confused with rally because our coach only said to hit the ball but i was very confused how? and my ball only went too high because of this videos i learned alot hope i will improve my self Thank you so much
I like you cut down the advise to a minimum. Many years I advised to much. Most people are not auditive but visual.I schould never forget that. Get people (as you says) to have fun. After a while I might videotape them and comment cooperativly at the same time with them. Rod laver once said that therte is nothing motivating more than feeling you"r gtetting better, but as a teacher I have to be patienced. Happy chrismas coach and I see your student is progressing!
Good job Anna. I see that you are holding the finish a bit too long cause you are looking where the ball is going & holding onto finish on your left shoulder. You have to get the racket back in ready position quickly after each stroke.
I stated playing tennis in June 2019 when I was 15. It been fun I definitely had a harder time learning the basics. The hardest shot for me to learn was the serve, but now it’s one of my favorite shots. Being left handed I love to just hit wider serves on the ad and take advantage of spin which is my main strength.
Best of best Tennis video tutorials -> up to 15.000 views Training video from a Pro blonde -> up to 45.000 views Beginner videos from a dancer with ½ pound weight outfit -> up to 215.000 views Conclusion: Channel has at least 93% male viewers
In my humble opinion she’s a true beginner in tennis, but she’s in a good physical shape, that’s why she’s progressing so fast. Her accent sounds like Russian)))
I am really surprised and impressed that Anna is having rally lessons almost only a few classes in. I know it's not uncommon for beginners to spend 20 and even 30 hours on forehand and backhands ONLY where there's always room for improvements in the basics. Glad to see she's learning to PLAY tennis and truly enjoying it.
what I like by Anna that she developed the feeling of the ball just she hit the ball enough amount of effort to get to her Coach. and it's very crucial. Keep up Anna, I routed for your many years now and expectation more from you. you CAN.
Nick, I had a male student who picked things up very quickly however his girlfriend did not, which lead to some friction. Next session I put him on the club's ball machine to give her my full attention. After a successful lesson she confessed, 'Gordon I didn't, but now I like you.
