And here is the Thai listening practice podcast for beginners with Kru Gift: Hello everyone! How are you all doing today? KruGift is doing well today, feeling great, no problems at all. I hope you’re all doing well too! Today, I’ll be talking about my favorite activities to do after work. Teaching is my main job, and I usually teach around seven to eight hours a day. One of my favorite activities is getting a massage-massage, massage, massage! After teaching, I often feel sore, especially around my shoulders, this side. My shoulders ache, throbbing with pain, and sometimes the pain even spreads to my neck and head, right here, very painful. When it gets really painful, it can make work less enjoyable because of having lots of pain. My way of relieving this pain is to get a massage. I bought a package for ten massages. When I go, I tear off a coupon, and I can use it for ten sessions. Buying a package is cheaper! Each time I go, I have a regular masseuse who knows exactly where my pain points are. Since I work mainly at the computer, I make repetitive hand movements all the time, which causes pain in my arms, back, shoulders, and neck. Each massage session lasts about two hours, 2 hours per session. I go for a massage once a week on Sundays. Right now, it’s 11:55 a.m., and I’m about to head out for a massage. I drive there-it’s not far from my home, about a 15-minute drive. I really love getting massages; they make me feel relaxed, comfortable, like I’m taking a break. How about you all? What activities do you like to do after work? Today, after my massage, I’ll have lunch. I plan to eat noodles today-mmm, I like to order sen lek (thin rice noodles). Today, I’m going to have beef noodles with broth. But if anyone doesn’t like soup, you can order sen lek without broth. I, on the other hand, love sipping the broth like this-it’s so refreshing, haha! Everyone, today is Sunday, a day off. Is traffic heavy around your area or near your home? Traffic in Bangkok is very congested, so I choose to do activities close to home to save time. Because today, besides getting a massage and having lunch, I also need to prepare for my classes tomorrow and clean my house. I’m all set to go out now. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday like this, and I hope to see you again in the next episode. If you have any ideas or topics you’re interested in, feel free to share them in the comments below. See you in the next episode. Wishing you the happiest Sunday! See you next time! Goodbye! Bye-bye!
🙏thank you so much krugift This is very good ! After 2 years of Thai learning almost every day … I can manage to say or ask something in Thai but listening 😩 each year we stay 3 months in thailand and then I can practice but the rest of the year no practice at all. I listened to the end but understood 10% and was completely discouraged😔 but then I changed speed to 75% and repeated small parts again and again and used google translate on my smartphone and then it was ok. It will take some time to go through the whole thing but I’m learning fast like this. Afterwards I will change speed to 100% Thanks for your clear pronunciation even pronouncing the ร 😉
