On a whim I decided to try this, but with yellows for lemons and it turned out so darn cute. My grandma turns 90 today and she loves lemons so I made her a card and did some hand lettering too. Thanks so much for this easy to follow tutorial!

Mellanie Reynolds watercolor is less forgiving than oil or acrylic. I’m the only person in my art class that paints with watercolor because it is harder to work with because the loss of control. Enjoy.

Hi! I did this tutorial today and it was my second time working with watercolours so I'm a complete beginner . And I had sooooo much fun doing this :) I've been tying to find my favourite painting medium for a while now and I can say that I really really enjoy working with watercolours. To be honest, I barely ever use premixed oranges. I like to make them for myself along with my blacks and greys. I love to use cool toned darks the most, a lot of my paintings use mostly cool tones with small pops of warm tones. I use so much ultamarine blue its insane.

This was a great warm-up piece, and lots of fun. I covered a page in my sketchbook with oranges, flowers and leaves. I would love to see some more fruit painting and drawing tutorials! They really do work well with the flowers and leaves.
