Usually these "beginner" videos include 20 different products, 12 different brands, 8 different brushes, and takes 15+ minutes to demonstrate. I don't have the space, budget, or time for any of that. THANK YOU for this PERFECT tutorial. There is absolutely nothing I don't like about it. Honestly, the best beginners tutorial out there.
@@user-tz7dt8qt8p Well then young lady, you have many, many wonderful years of makeup tips to look forward to and who knows, maybe you'll still be wearing makeup when you're my age!😊
@GeeFunk MasterFlex Exactly what I was gonna say but then, doesn't ASMR require a tingling sensation, not just relaxation? Her voice was seriously soothing though.
I love how this video actually feels like a tutorial for beginners. Simple, direct instructions with moments of silence to allow for comprehension; assistive, onscreen graphics and captions; doesn’t encourage you to buy a bunch of specific products and instead tells you what traits each product needs, whilst giving an example of each; no distracting music. This is a legitimately helpful makeup tutorial.
This is an actual tutorial! No funky music, no unnecessary music and talking and funny faces! Actually explaining with detail exactly what to do, visual aids, actual tricks... And it is also not long! I mean this is a perfect job right there. THANK YOU
This video literally addressed everything I was worried about in 4m I’m a beginner BEGINNER so I don’t even know the first thing about it including brush and colors and where to apply it and this video explained it so well!! My other fear was how to know what colors you’d use and this video explains how to pick and choose!! Other tutorials just pick a color and use and don’t even explain how we can choose one. I love how this video explains why and how you apply on the eye and how to blend it and the brush types!! I love this!! Can’t wait to practice
Haha same, the extent of my knowledge before watching this was basically there are different types of brushes, blending is a thing and put the lighter colour/s on the inner part of your eyelid
I’ve never noticed how important brushes are to makeup. I used to do my makeup with cheap Wet n’ Wild brushes, and it looked so bad. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong. This Christmas, my aunt got me a few Morphe brushes, and HOT DAMN! My eyeshadow has never looked this good.
I'm with you there! Amazingly it actually IS easier👌.. don't know what to pinpoint, but understand perfectly what to do and how to create it to my own face- what else can I ask for 😊👌💗.. ( Even if I my English is ok, it's not my first language, of course I want to understand Everything, lol )
I've used this tutorial for years - no seriously, once I learned "the steps" I was able to become more creative, always using this as my base. Can't do much make up but people always compliment my eyes. Thank you!
I just want to thank you with the sincerest of gratitude! I have never been much of a girly girl in the way of makeup, and everytime someone would try to teach me, I could never get it right. I watched this tutorial two days ago, with the intention of using my basic makeup pallet to create an easy and neutral look. Your tutorial was SO easy to follow, and I was able to pull off two successful makeup looks with very different colors. Thank you so much for sharing your skills and talent, and for making it so easy! ❤❤
I searched for a eyeshadow tutorial and this came up. Loved this tutorial, no music, no faffing round about the products just a simple tutorial. I followed this and normally I am terrible at eye makeup, but following this, choosing 3 shades, light, mid, and dark, and then a shimmer, my make up was flawless! I did it at a wedding and with my fake lashes people thought I had it professionally done! Thank you for this, your amazing
Although I have been watching your videos for years and years, I’ve been on a kick where I’m re-watching your videos while I make dinner and then re-creating the eye look before work the next morning. I’ve realized it’s because your voice is incredibly calming! Thank you for years of amazing tutorials and just for being an awesome human. It’s become like therapy 😂❤️
I just came across your vids and I just want you to know, that I've watched hundreds of tutorials (a lot of Professional Artists) and you're the only person that explains everything in grave detail. I've learned so much from you, just by 2 vids so far, more than I have from all the others. I really appreciate this so much. I can't thank you enough. Your technique is hands down, the best I've ever seen. Keep up your amazing work and may you have much success. ❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve watched this video more than once. You have helped me so much with the instructions on the screen with the arrows. I now understand mid tone application. I never knew! Thank you.
I have been following this channel right from 2013 when I got married and started learning to do little bit of makeup ! I learned a lot from this channel and I wud like to say that this channel’s is one of my frst favourite makeupup tutorials as it’s always keeps things easy and SIM’le to understand unless like other channels who blabbers a lot which is annoying and it’s directly to the point no music etc behind . Thanks I was one of your few hundred subscribers back them now congrats on reaching millions
Such a peaceful and calm voice. It encourages you to actually try to do the makeup and be patient. It makes you actually want to follow the tutorial. Also it’s a nice elegant classy but still glam makeup look. I don’t wear makeup often but I have prom coming up and this is gorgeous! Thanks for keeping it classy, that’s hard to find nowadays. Definitely liked and subscribed.
Best beginner video I have found. Simple explanations, shapes edited in to show where things should go, and no need for specific palettes or brushes. Thank you!
This is super useful! I am not a makeup person, mostly relying on premade "kits" of shadow that tell you exactly which shade to apply where. Since purchasing an actual eyeshadow palette, I felt a little overwhelmed with the choices--until I found this video! Thanks for sharing this!
Your video was so helpful! Your explanation of shade choice vs your skin tone coupled with the proper angle to hold your brush made a world of difference for me! I’ve always disliked how my eyeshadow turns out and those tips led to my favorite eyeshadow application to date! Thank you!
Hey there Gorgeous😍! Needed some really good make-up advice 😄👌💟and got some ❣ missed you girl 💓! All the non-stop drama seems neverending 😖.. You Always make my day when I see that you have uploaded.. this morning 🙏 so very thankful to hear your voice..( insomniac here🙋) and I will be fine with whatever video you do next, I always learn 👍- Thank you kindly 🤗💕🍁🇫🇮
I've watched lots of eyeshadow tutorials and NONE of them say to keep the "midtone" highest on the eye and to not allow the dark contrasting color to surpass it. WOW! This is SO helpful! Thanks for the thorough and quick tutorial! :)
This was exactly what I needed, step by step, clear explanations, not 20 minutes long. Just subscribed so I can get more tutorials like this. Thank you!
From someone who RARELY puts any makeup on. Only for special occasions, I wish I had found you sooner. I know nothing about eye makeup besides maskera. ❤️❤️
Wow! Im the type of person who learns through detailed instructions/pics/graphs! This was on point! Gonna deffinitly use this tutorial for when i have a party etc to glam up for! Thank you xxx
Your channel has grown so much..i think i have been subbed for over 8 years..im gonna look back on some of your videos..but i do know ive been subbed 8 years or more...im happy and want you to know you deserve every subscription and many , many more..😄😄😄.
I tried this and works. I'm a beginner, it was so easy to follow along. Thank you! Now I can do my own simple eyeshadow makeup with the skills I learnt from here.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! This was super helpful; I finally know how to do this by myself for the first time-it’s honestly such an empowering feeling! Thank you again!
Every time I do this it turns out really bad. I do my makeup like they did in the 90s. I just put one eyeshadow and that’s it. I really don’t understand today’s makeup because when I was younger there was no highlighter or contour.
I feel ur struggle lol. I used 1 shade on only my eye lid. I bought a shit ton of eye shadow and idk wtf I'm doing. I look like I got punched in the eye. Ugh I'm 28 btw
Excellent tutorial. Short and sweet and packed with useful info. Somehow I was never taught how to apply eye shadow so just never bother with it. None of my friends or family know how either 😂 only the pro make up artists I’ve come across have ever known how.
@@TheMakeupChair That would be so thoughtful of you😭 I've been subscribing you for almost 2 years but I've never been able to recreate the same look as yours. I hate using tape lid bc it's not comfy, that's why I only enjoy watching your tutorials without having the chance to look as gorgeous as yours
This actually helped me soooo much, I struggled to do good eyeshadow and his really helped me to get a really good eyeshadow. It is also a very good tutorial THANK YOU
I just started a job and I have to have make up! I’ve been a stay at home mama for years ... i havnt been wearing any make up at all for years haha other than mascara and lipstick... but one j have so much to learn. I appreciate your video, thank you
I love your eyebrows! They’re so beautiful and not too overbearing! Your voice as well is so soothing . I really enjoyed watching this video! I’m a new subscriber, and plan to binge watch your videos! :)
Thank you soooo much this video was really helpful I’ve been looking at so many easy beginners eyeshadow tutorials but none of them were helpful like yours now I know how to the eyeshadow so thank you so much again!! 😊😊😊
I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your tutorial video. I'm new at makeup and stuff like that and your video was very helpful and straightforward. Thank you so much!
It depends on the type of shadows you use and the eyeshadow but it can work, I just find for beginner if they want a clean blend changing brushes can help alot!
