I would like to point out that if you break open a safe/chest or any locked loot container with the pick/crowbar/sledgehammer/augar anything but lockpicks the amount of loot in the container will be reduced alot.
@@christherock2370 I think the crowbar opens the treasure chests in one hit with no loss of loot now. That is how khaine has been doing it in the latest version.
Hey man great video! As someone who’s played 7 days vanilla on a handful of worlds with friends in mostly default difficulty settings I’ve always thought the game had challenges but is a chill game. Is the transition super difficult does this mod turn the game into a hardcore experience?
The transition is not too difficult. Depending on settings, it can be very hard but just starting on Darkness Falls defaults will be a bit harder than vanilla but it brings back some of the intensity the game previously had. It also extends the progression so the longer you last the harder it gets.

I'm pretty sure Khaine fixed the RWG for DF. But it's pep only. For food just pick up all the vegetables and axe the fruit trees. Traders always have cooking pots and grills for sale. BIG early game tip: scouts can sell you the first three ranks of all the crafting perks thus allowing you to put your skillpoints elsewhere. Important is that Khaine actually made a system where if you lockpick a container you get better loot than when you break it open.
@@CopperRivets apples too XD. Yeah I agree but it's easier than implementing a food degradation system. It's doable, I think war of the walkers has it, but time consuming. Maybe once the mod matures a bit more he'll consider it. For now baked apples and dried oranges it is! Oh and don't forget the fresh fruit salad XD
I always use survivalist once you max out that perk that increases Quest rewards you can pick two rewards every time you finish a mission and it just makes the game so much easier after that
I'm playing the mod and trying to do the first research lab in the winter but I can't find the zombie spawner which I thought looked like a body bag that you destroy to stop spawning.
