Just finished this pattern for my mom ❤ it’s beautiful! I used a smaller yarn and needle set, added 8 stitches, and it turned out just fine.

Hi I love this tutorial but I have a question. How many stitches do I have to cast in with needles 4,5 mm please? Thanks for answering me and I wish you a lot of success with all your tutorials. You explain it so well and I have seen them all. Sweet greetings sind by Inge 🍀🌹😉

wonderful scarf...can any weight of yarn be use for this project?

Thank you - yes you definitely could! If you cast on the same number of stitches with a different weight your scarf would end up with a smaller or larger circumference, but you could still repeat the pattern for the full 6". If you wanted it about the same circumference with a different weight of yarn, you would want to modify the number of stitches you cast on (in multiples of 4) based on the yarn gauge. For example, if you wanted to use worsted weight on a US 8, with a gauge of 4.5 stitches per inch, I would cast on 4.5 stitches/inch *64 inches = 288 stitches. I hope that helps!
