Idk they're were different rules & positions, we justbplayed it in pe, having the whole class split in half, so it was still pretty much 15s game, except for touching. Didn't even always place ball down, would just hand it over, but did need to use your foot, whether smart or illegal, would use have the ball in hand at hip height & list foot up to start play
@@sofiabellini6289 hahahahahaha I liked your response. I haven't ever played rugby and I don't understand something. How is the other team suppose to take the ball considering that when you touch the other player the whole team must move backward?
@@michaelroditis1952 Not the maker of the video but I played a bit awhile ago (here for a refresh!), they only need to move back 5 metres and then they can keep going. Because each team only gets 6 touches, the defending team needs to back off a little so that they can't just immediately touch the next person to get the ball after they touched the first person. It's to give the attacking team a little bit of time to get going again. The defending team will get the ball after 6 touches, so backing off doesn't lose them the chance. Hope that helps, but take what I say with a grain of salt haha!
