I bought a 1 Terabyte Flash(USB) drive and I want to move ALL of my photos to this drive. so, I dragged them over to the new drive (F in this case) and it showed the name and type of file etc. I wanted to be SURE that it copied over before I deleted the originals off of my PC..so I double-clicked on one of the files (image file) and when my image Viewer opened, it was a solid BLACK page..no image at all. SO, now I’m not sure what to do, my PC is almost completely filled and I want to move a lot of Vacation Images from the years past onto this new USB drive, then delete them from my PC, freeing up memory space. What went wrong with my attempt to move the image files onto the USB Flash drive? Can I copy them over like you just did?

The way you explained step-by-step, so slowly was what I liked best I have never been able to watch videos without changing the speed everyone else talks so fast, and I have to watch the videos over and over along with pausing which causes so much confusion for me with you. I didn’t have to do that . I wish more were like you. You’re a great educator. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

So, if you transfer pictures on your flash drive, I’m guessing you save to removable K on your computer, does this free up space on your computer, I have thousands of pictures on my computer and thought about a flash drive but not sure if I can delete the pictures once I have on the flash. ?

My wife is about to retire and needs to transfer pics from her work pc quickly but I am not able to figure this flash drive out. This San Disk is wanting me to first set up and install software/password in order to be able to use it. Thank you, I learn how to transfer files. Question: Can you transfer a whole program from your desk top?

Do you think it's worth mentioning that holding the Windows key and pressing the left arrow key will move the active window to the left half of the screen and then selecting the other window you're working with and repeating the Windows key + right arrow will move the second window to the right half of the screen and neatly place them for doing the drag drop operation or indeed the Copy Paste transfer? It's a standard windows 10 shortcut I only found out about a week ago and it's so useful saves all the corner dragging.

you don`t need two screens just drag the file to the drive letter you want and let go, your way is way to many steps

As a mature learner on computers and finding same very difficult I found this video excellent. You spoke slowly and illustrated the movements very clearly. I will certainly watch more of your video's. Glad to say I can use a Flash Drive Thanks very much.

It's not necessary to format the flash drive first? Are they already formatted out of the package? I usually format them first but that may not be necessary.

When I plugged in the flash drive I heard a tone, but no window popped up. I also hear a tone when I unplug the flash drive. Any suggestions? Thanks.
