I don't think the wish list is bad considering it would be for a new player and aiming to give them the most efficient use of resources. What I am finding out is that you can't build everyone so if you have to examine your own account and see what mix of heroes you have built and adjust your own priorities accordingly.
I have a 2 month old alt account with Lucilla as its SG prio for fun (currently at Ascended 0*) and I've been hitting the powercap in Hypo tower even without Lucretia. I am also progressing in the Campaign pretty okay with Scarlet, Naroko, and Daimon respectively in different teams, I could've pushed to ch35 if I am more lucky with gear stones 😭. With Lucretia being gone in SG prio list is no surprise.
even though lucretia has zero usage in late game outside of tower she is still probably a priority to get early game since campaign is important until you finish chapter 41. once rem is released for garrison she is probably not worth it anymore though.
I'm very skeptical of this guide as a f2p player. This "beginners" guide may be good for new whales, but it seems like awful advice for f2p players. Lightbearer and Maulers seem like a decent guide, but it begins to fall apart for me after that. Trishea is seeing more usage, but it still seems like it's either too early or just not worth it as a priority hero. Skipping engraving on Mishka seems silly, Thoran without his furniture is just torture, recommending to build Lucilla before Daemia is odd to say the least, recommending Olgath which is mostly just used in the tower and with Maetria in her full hypogean team, but not recommending Lucretia which is still an amazing carry that actually benefits from having weaker heroes in formation and putting C&R above Haelus is all just very odd in my opinion. The fact that Mortas and Twins aren't even present is also worrying as they're huge buffers.
@@furryhippogaming I may be wrong about Lucilla since the multiple lives she has may make her great for beginners, but I feel like Lucretia is still a better carry.
Considering how Trashea had trouble clearing her own guild trials with the unoptimized teams they gave us, and likely would perform about the same or worse due to deficits in regular content, I'm not optimistic that this guide wasn't built with CR/NC in mind, despite the fact that new players cannot access those pieces of content for upwards of 6-7 months. Like you said, there's some very weird choices here. I'll also die on the hill that not having Edwin on your first 5 wishlist is silly, the guy works at E+, never gets worse, can outperform and/or help Daimon if you don't get a ton of good RNG, and in a lot of ways and is a MUCH better unit than Grezhul for the majority of content until you get that Grez 9/9, and even then, you might want to merc yours for TR once your carries are sufficiently strong anyway (I repeatedly hit Diamond 1 or better on everything for months before I had mine done due to unlucky furn RNG).
There's nothing wrong with her, but the second Rem gets put into Garrison (which no doubt was a huge component in the process of generating this list, despite the fact that it is not optimal because she isn't currently) she's probably going the way of the dodo when it comes to first/second choice. Tower is definitely gonna suffer, so there will always be an argument to raise a top-tier DPS in the faction so you can fill out Field of Star nodes. Then again, the Stargazing list has some pretty big flaws that I think the creators overlooked.
No way Lucretia is not even on the list :( She alone took me for the first 50 floors of her tower and to chapter 30 in one month. I need one copy to make her 1 star and i doubt it worth to switch her with Daemia or Liberta
Yeah, the list is highly subjective as always. As a new player Lucretia is absolutely still the best bet, simply because you need to build only her and not 4 more to make up ONE team. Why Daemia is there who needs tons of support and assistance from other built heroes to even begin to work i do not understand.
I always have an issue with priority lists for 'beginner' players, but the fact this doesn't even include a single twins copy as a gaze priority is a bit appalling. No, the fact you can "earn" copies of Twins and Mortas from stores doesn't mean those are ACTUALLY attainable by a new player. You should also not have to rely on RNG to get core game pieces (like people have repeatedly parroted when it comes to L copies of Awakened heroes), especially because you're either going to be mercing the top dps or grezhul to improve your TR scores for a very long time.
@@olietgaby8954 Getting Twins to E+, a single copy of Mortas and a single copy of Mehira still feels like a no-brainer to me in case you don't get lucky naturally obtaining them. Gazing for the single Daemia before Twins is probably very acceptable, but do get Twins early, regardless. Some people debate whether you should gaze for Mortas very early, but he did me a lot of good when I went through the earlier stages of the game, and he's still useful in a handful of scenarios especially for more budget oriented players (one of my Nightmare Corridor kills was with a Mortas in the team; he's only E, and my teams aren't even close to being meta), but it could probably be ok to delay both him and Mehira until you've gotten some footing into a powerful celestial/hypogean, or unlocked those faction towers, as they give you a lot for little there (My "maxed" Lucretia would sometimes struggle without one or either). Whatever you do, you're not likely to buy either of those from stores due to it not being possible (you can't even access Nightmare Corridor for a long time), or delayed priorities (you do not want to delay your Challenger Store Dims for too long, at most picking up a copy of Ezizh is fine as he also has a lot of uses, but to get both delays you by ~2 month on starting Merlin) and you can't buy Mehira either way, so it's up to you when you want to gaze for them.
Better not put twins, because you can still get One copy of twins in Dreamstore every month, actually it me 7 months to build Twins without using SC cards because I get her in Dreamstore everymonth
So Lucretia is not worth building anymore? If not then what should I do if I have already started to build her and she is currently at mythic and I have another epic copy?
Just finish building her since you're close already. I feel like this guide is kind of bad IMO. Lucretia is still an amazing carry for PvE (mainly tower and campaign), but she can be subbed into some other teams if you're missing stronger heroes for PVP or CR, NC, etc. I find it a bit ridiculous that they suggest building Lucilla before Daemia and they suggested olgath, but not Lucretia despite olgath mostly just being used with Maetria in her full hypogean team. If you're f2p this whole guide just seems aweful.
the power creep is so sad in this game once you build a cel/hypo i can use it in game modes where they are META for 2 months geting into the top 10% whales have the same heroes but the 5 star and higher engraving just pushes you off the top 10% wich feels misserable ..... and after 3 months the hero will no longer see usage in thag game mode and new bosses new meta will change the field its just sad while normal thalene still have some usage newer and newer haroes fall of quicker
the nightmaire corridor is just too hard whales can do it in 2 minutes and 20 sec and iam as a f2p for more than 3 years can't even kill some bosses i feel like lilith just focuses on whale stuff and doesn't even test how f2p players stack up or how we rank in some game modes a multiple year old acc sould be able to clear the game mode mostly whales still would be able to breake records and fight for leaderboards this is same is in temporal rift i don't know how i will get to floor 300 it too hard and rng based + anoying stability and 30 retries in not enaugh and whales get more trait enhancer for paying in while they are stronger than an of us lilith should make a collective system where f2p players alao get more space time essenc to level up talents
@@isekawai I play like for 6-7 months and already am killing some bosses. No way if you understand the game you can't kill them all in 3 years. You need to read more or something
@@Querens i was able to kill all 6 of them some times but now the new one aggain requires maxed out liberta every new boss needs the newest meta hero, that heroe takes time to build ...as an f2p my best time now is killing 5 boss i would need liberta for the 6th XD at every new season for a new boss its takes time to find the most optimal teams till then i only can kill 3 or 4 bosses
Awbelinda still seems to be the #1 awakened hero, after that AwSafiya, AwLyca, and AwAthalia seem to be close. Solise is still a great support, but with all the new awakened heroes, it may be better to just get 1 copy of Solise and build some of the newer meta heroes first.
This isnt a horrible list but didnt Inseason and Analytica get banned on the afk arena subreddit for many reasons? One of them being for recommending not the most ideal heroes and investments?
