I love Wyatt White and his video's. He is always so concise. I would like to see a much longer video on this subject with more tips told to us. I did notice how he twirls the silk thread to get it through the hole, I like that little tip. and the glue tip. excellent.

@billiemonster14 For pearl knotting, I prefer to use Griffin Silk Thread. It is very sturdy, goes through the pearls easily, and is great for knotting. We've added a link for Griffin Silk in the video description underneath the video.

Is it a MUST to knot pearls? I want to make a strand of Tahitian pearls, but I am not a fan of the knot look.

Thank you for the detailed video. I am wandering what are you using to work with tiny pearls, for example graduated necklace. The smaller pearls are so tiny sometimes it’s very hard to pull the thread even one way. And yes, I am using fine thread and thinnest needles. Thank you in advance on your answer.

Thanks for watching our video. If you are having trouble passing cord, you may want to try slightly enlarging the holes on the pearls. We have a video on a pearl and bead reamer here: www.beadaholique.com/how-to-use-bead-and-pearl-reamers.html

Hi there!! What size of string are you using?? I'be been using 4-6 but looks like you may be using an 8?? Thanks, excellent tutorial!!

+michelellanos Hi, I am so glad you liked Wyatt's tutorial. He was very nice to have shared it with us. Unfortunately since this video is not one we recorded ourselves, I am not 100% sure what size he was using. I agree that it looks bigger then a 6 and it could very well be a size 8. I am sorry that I do not have an exact answer.

I am just not getting what 2 strings Wyatt is talking about as far as tying an overhead knot over each pearl in the beginning. Help!

I believe he is referring to doubling up the stringing material.

My French wire often gets wonky. Do you have any suggestions?
@beadaholique
@beadaholique 3 года назад
They can finicky. Sometimes you can use nylon jaw pliers to help them lay smoother as opposed to working with all metal tools.
@DianaMoon11428
@DianaMoon11428 3 года назад
@@beadaholique I meant that after lying on the silk the wire separates. I massage it back into place but it separates again.
@beadaholique
@beadaholique 3 года назад
@@DianaMoon11428 I haven't had exactly that problem with french wires but honestly it's been a while since we've worked with them. This might be a good question to ask on our Facebook page if you're on there, you might get some helpful ideas from other beaders in the community.
