Today's video shows a compilation of clips from the 2021 Pandemic days, initially purchasing the car, to finally getting it torn down the to frame.
Enjoy the video and stay tuned for next episode where the frame TRANSFORMS from a rusty POS to a sandblasted and wet sanded masterpiece, almost ready for paint. This is the first recent update of many BackCountry Builds - featuring Sid the LS Swapped Chevelle - videos of the series, with much more exciting content to be published soon.
Leave a comment if you're as excited as I am. GIve this video a thumbs up if you enjoyed and consider subscribing for more BackCountry Builds content.

I am about to start restoring my 68. I owned it since 1982. My 3rd restore. I was looking for motivation and found you. Enjoyed and will follow your exploits young man. Just keep kicking the rust until it shines.

Just looking at your build scares me. I just acquired a 1970 Chevy Chevelle Malibu. From the first and only Owner, she got it as a graduation present and handed it down to me now I’m really scared to even just take one bolt off from looking at your video because it’s been sitting for the last 30 years

It would be worth more to go back stock

Not shopping for resale value! This project isn’t a flip by any means. Thanks for watching!

@@backcountrybuilds being a 138 car if you go back stock even without the original engine you would be able to recoup and money you spent and a fair amount of the labor. If it was a 69 year car then that would be a different story. Anyway have fun
