Have been following Kani Kusruti's acting in movies/shows across languages, always had gut feeling she is going places for sure, then last year i saw Divya Prabha's "The Declaration" it was just like wow same gut feeling for her too.. both getting the well deserved recognition for the same film Kudos to both..
After 30years an Indian film in the main event race of Cannes The Palme d'Or, what an achievement in itself big congrats and high hopes for the film and all involved specially Payal Kapadia, Kani Kusruti, Divya Prabha, Chhaya Kadam & Hridhu Haroon, Extemely proud movement. Cant wait to watch it.
Thank you Anupama for always asking Questions, that pops in our mind while watching the interview! How do you read your viewers' mind this good?! Amazing ! Finally Bollywood is talking CINEMA and Not MOVIES & STARS!
The Malayalam film industry doesn't give importance to kani kusurti. I feel that she is being marginalized in malayalam industry.she got chances only in parallel movies, not in mainstream space. Even still the malayalam film industry is stagnant in hypocrisy. That's why they didn't give her importance in Malayalam industry. she is brilliant and courageous actress.whereas she is doing more films in outside. In this problem, there are lots of layers. Especially casteism in Malayalam film industry. The sad thing is, this industry didn't make a discussion about this movie so far. If the actors had nair menon tails, they would have discussed about this movie.
Nimisha has excelled and proven her talent. She has starred in successful films as a leading actress that have performed well commercially. While Kani is a talented actor,Nimisha possesses the qualities to become a leading lady. It's truly inspiring to see her making a positive impact in the industry especially as a dusky beauty taking on lead roles.
@@asifmuraad5313kani kusurti and Nimisha are both talented but have completely different style of acting. Nimisha is in no way inferior to Kani. Infact she is more versatile than Kani, so easily fits into both commercial & parallel cinema .
Such a delightful conversation with actors who are not media trained. The so called mainstream actors are so media trained that you can't differentiate one from the other. They sound the same, their accents are similar and they use similar PR trained templates to talk about their film related experiences. So nice to have such unfiltered actors who have retained their rawness. Good job FC!
This is good 👍👍 kudos...you all made us proud...I liked Chaya Kadam's openess...she was speaking what she is...just like her character in films...just natural...be it...All the very best...keep going 🎉🎉
When I saw the trailer Kani looks so different and she managed to make the character authentic and relatable, focusing on making the character's look and body language unique. She reminds me of what Sai Pallavi said about being natural that actually brings out the personality of the character.
