Im from the USA and lived in Eastern Africa Tanzania for two years.. Made me really wake up to how the world is and how much greed corrupts. They were some of the hardest working and smartest people ive met yet when you see the money being siphoned off through politicians you realize they're robbing their own citizens of opportunity to grow for themselves and their country.

R.I.P. Ashrad Sharif, Mohamad Rizwan, Malik Massoud . May their light continue to shine.

Arshad Sharif the journalist in this video was assassinated in Kenya by the current corrupt Sharif government. He was a highly respected journalist who worked tirelessly exposing the corrupt government.

"London is a destination of choice for politically exposed persons and their family members..." is the reason why I have turned down multiple opportunities to relocate. I don't want to be in a city where I will constantly have to watch their kids my age flaunt the family's ill gotten wealth.

Awesome documentary. Specially like the comment of Imran Khan "I have come to this conclusion that countries are poor only because of corruption". Thanks guys , much appreciated work. Same is going in my country also.

I wonder how unashamed this people are, driving through Nairobi slums and they see poverty among the people...and still steal from them, may God deal with them .

This documentary is so spot on about the corruption & injustice that keeps poor countries poor.

UK is a common factor in most of these cases!

It is not surprising that a country like Britain that still has a Monarchy rooted in ancient anachronic customs, would continue doing these sort of corrupt activities. It is part of the mindset to fall into these practices.

What have we created of this world by letting money control us. Very insightful documentary that every human in this planet must watch.

As Azerbaijani, I am glad the regime is getting exposed to more people. Even though I like to see my country from outside perspective, it makes me sad to see this from this context.

As someone who lives in a country ruled by a dictatorship, I would like to explain this (I will not say my country, but inflation is around 300% and we are in a very difficult situation). Dictators do not happen to countries randomly. The reason for dictators is the people. And my people were racist, pretentious, liars, cheaters in business, etc. So they got what they deserved and I was caught in the middle

I feel for Londoners, British citizens, looking for a proper appartment to live in, for a decent price...impossible ...a building for4 families is the summer home of somebody somewhere. On the other hand, this situation has arisen because some authority in London has ignored the need of the home people and has instead only seen $$$.

Moral of the story, time always catches up,, what is wrong stays wrong no matter how much you spend to cover it up..

When I was 10, I passed by a portrait studio in the Brent Cross shopping mall, and one of the portraits was of an African general. The artist said he was a diplomat in London. I asked, "How can an African diplomat afford to have his portrait painted?"

There's corruption in every country, not just the poor countries. The more money, the more greed. It's just more angering when it happens in poor countries. Also, rich countries are more 'savy' about how they go about corrupting, like legally owning stocks in warmanufacturing companies, for then to instigate/perpetuate wars.

You are the light of conscience and torch of the truth by reflecting the bitter facts of human tragedies through hard work and pain sticking research. This is beyond investigating journalism, it is excavation of hidden secrets in the name of justice and science against all odds. History and ethics are shining at you and cherish such immense dedication with admiration and deepest homage. Bravo! Thanks!

Amazing work was done on the publication of this documentary. But I feel sorry and sad when I hear the voice of a "Pakistani Investigation Journalist" who lost his life due to showing the TRUE face of our corrupt politician.

An excellent & complete lesson on 3rd world politics! 1. Procure power by support of UK imperialism, 2. Siphon off national funds to London & other friendly western nations, 3. To appeal to sympathizers, learn to cry & project blame onto others, in your local language as a victim when busted for corruption, exploitation of the nation, & money laundering. British Monarchy benefited from 3rd world nations' wealth for nearly a century & then promptly passed the torch on to British corp.s & US to continue the exploitation, while the blame is conveniently laid on a local politician, who is of course fully sheltered in the UK. Gotta love it! Isn't western democracy just wonderful in keeping the West rich!

A follow up documentary should be made on current situation in Pakistan.

It's fortunate that maybe through exposure like this documentary, the corruption might get policed better in the future. But don't deprive yourself of Oxygen waiting for GB to return any money. The British Museum should return ALL of the treasures taken from other countries. But they don't and won't. Not even when formally asked by the governments of the countries of origin.

It would be so sad if something happened to these lawyers that represent dubious clients in baseless lawsuits against NGo and such.

This is "only" the British and Aserbeichan and Pakistan version of it bound to London. There is a German version and i am sure there is a Swizz version, a Lichtenstein version and a French version. All come together as not even a list of tax heavens can be compiled by the European Union. The Italien version was partly related (and obvious crime based) to Mafia and similar organisations and the North Korean is very obvious and extended. The conservative parties In EU don't want to fight against this - partly as they dream of their own "big". arrangements - partly they are bribed by what some call "lobbyism". In essence London is hooked up with Greek and Russian (and alike) finanaced real estate. It embarreses Londoners the most as in the real estate bubble no normal salary in London can buy a flat - let alone a house. Prince Andrew is just the British version of Hunter Biden in Ukraine. On the horizin everything related to shares trading and financing is increasingly screened but indeed the major ways are introduced by misbehave of polititians in the bright light. It starts with the very top: Ursula von der Leyen hiding her phone as she was involved in corruption in Consulting Bundeswehr. Even worse than corruption but comingled is the "Non Performance" of incompetent people at high levels. Taking money is one side but not caring for the job is often the bigger problem. EU-Comissionaire Öttinger - who could not even speak 4 words English after serving for many years as prime Minister of Baden-Württemberg - then became responsible for the Digital Development of whole European Union😢. We, the whole EU, will suffer for many decades with a demage worth of many billions - just because of this one incompetent individual. He was sent to this position by Angela Merkel as EU higher ranks are not elected.

He enriched himself through banking fraud with help from PEP venezuelan president Carlos Andres Perez, and escaped to London, laundered the money through real estate investments in London as well.

There is a saying," nations get the politicians they deserve ". Has a ring of truth to it when u consider it, for from the people and culture come its leaders. If dishonesty permeates the land, u can be assured, the leaders will be likewise. Honest, unselfish, hardworking individuals is what makes a nation great. Look around u and how often do u see such a nation or for that matter a community. Where it exists, prosperity follows.

The best documentary on the corruption genre I have ever watched so far. I hope you will do one feature for my country, the Philippines, too. I am now a Canadian citizen but the sad plight of my homeland in the clutches of immoral and seemingly evil politicians and government officials never left my consciousness. I pray that more inspiring and ideal filmmakers like you will find more funding so you can continue to expose and educate everyone.

Arshad Sharif, a very well-known investigative journalist from Pakistan, has been shot dead in Kenya by the Kenyan Police. The way he was targeted, everyone know who were behind this but no one talking about it because everyone, even his close friends and colleagues, is afraid that they could kill them as well. This is an excellent documentary. I also recommend Kleptopia by Tom Burgis, speaking about the same thing but especially Kazakhstan. Also Arshad Sharif a Pakistani journalist, was shot and killed in Kenya, by local police on 23 October 2022.

Some extremely wealthy people make their wealth from traficking - drugs, people, weapons, money, information. The runners on the ground are many and disposable. And all nationalities participate.

Very good documentary, yet only the tip of the tip of the iceberg can be covered in a such a film. Poor countries are and will remain poor by design. This is a fallen world and things are about to get much worse and most people cannot put 2 and 2 together...
