I loved this book!!! I’ve never hated a villain until I came across Jack!! Thanks for the in depth review! Easily one of my fave thrillers I read in 2020.

OH MY GOD I AGREE WITH YOU SO MUCH when you said those things about Jack being an attorney, how he never lost a case, and having a huge house & that his case is so big that it's on Thailand newspaper, it's just sooo unrealistic

No legal research was done. Partners at prestigious law firms aren't prosecuting cases. Made no sense! Still a good read though.

I need to read this!! I love a good thriller and typically don’t love paranormal elements so that’s good to know it doesn’t have any!

totally agree! i didn't find it to be particularly well-written but i was absolutely gripped the entire time--had to finish it in one sitting. i tried to just take the highly implausible elements as plot devices for the sake of telling a thrilling story, but they did somewhat pull me out of the world a little bit

Just finished the book and wanted to watch your review for it! The dude is very insane 😂 I really liked the way the book made me feel. I was anxious and horrified but I thought it was really predictable. I was also waiting for a twist but I was disappointed when I finished the book ☹️

Sure! You can borrow it! You might find it a little dopey, but if you suspend some dumb things, it's a great thrill ride!
