From Doja’s Schiaparelli look (wearing 30,000 Swarovski crystals) to turning up to Viktor & Rolf wearing eyelash-inspired eyebrows and moustache, and snacking on grapes at Haider Ackermann’s Jean Paul Gaultier takeover, the Grammy winner turned her front row Paris Couture appearances into performance art. I think Doja is a good example of when a person taps into stardom as a young adult vs a child star. Not every child star is doomed and not every star who walked into fame as an adult is humble..however. I do think there’s a noticeable pattern 🤔 Somebody do the stats on that and get back to me 😂

To think I wanted to become a Fashion Designer move to Paris and live in NY was always a dream that was never fulfilled as a youngster this makes me smile. Doja being a favorite singer and now is welcomed into fashion industry confirms that my parents were wrong, bless their hearts. Being older only confirms do what you love and what makes you happy and never allow anyone to interfere with your dreams. Good for you Doja! I really do enjoy her freedom with fashion, but I think her look breaks down when there are too many elements to work with. That red look would have been so much better with more of a one-piece sleeveless jumper that included the heel. They put too many pieces together and there were too many lines. I've seen her do this before as well. When you are really going there, keeping the look clean is the most chic thing to do. Otherwise, I appreciate her fashion bravery.
