A year ago the Russians used Belarus as launchpad for a surprise attack on Ukraine. A few months later, the Russians were beaten so badly at the Battle of Kyiv that they had to run back to Belarus to escape the Ukrainians. Lukashenko was supporting Russian invasion in ALL possible ways since it's beginning and even before it started by providing Belarus soil for Russian military, supplying the Russian army, including sending all sorts of weapons.
