You will ever regrett it. Thats getting an evolve. Im 54, and every chance for the last 6 months since i got it, the Carbon GTR , im on it.

I used to ride a black hawk electric board. They claim to be leagues ahead of the competition. But their boards are limited on power and range

Dude I've watched high end boards lockup and I've watched low end Hobbywing boards lockup, Evolve doing it every now and then also only looks like a more consistent thing when there's a big social platform and a grand scale of sales. It gets harder to monitor when there's more units to check, and the things aren't rated that high at all in regards to what the electrics can output and handle continuously. If people didn't flog the boards so often there'd be less issues popping up, Evolve probably go through multiple designs a week when prepping new models, they're definitely trying to address the potential for issues, if you want to see scum designs look at the wiring of a Bioboard or Bajaboard battery.

ATs getting current street wheel range with a better battery swapping method would be perfect imo

It must be a GTR as the GTR was only released 18 months ago. Batteries do age so talk to your local service centre about a new one and your board will be like new again!

@@contorta960 Boosted died because they misused a $70m investment to create a scooter with the specs of one that costs a quarter of its price, Evolve will be fine, especially with a market leading customer service setup. DIY isn't even a threat to them, only a few are capable/willing to go that route and there's not really any rush for the specs you're asking for when Evolve aren't marketed for the speed factor, their focus is carving. Motor controllers look more common when you're selling that many more units, and a lot of people thrash the boards way too hard for what they're rated for, user error is absolutely a factor here.

Hey Karen, we are stoked you took the chance on getting a board and know you'll only find more love for it as you get more comfortable. Take it slow, work up the modes, dial in your trucks and get a feel for how different surfaces feel under your feet. Enjoy the work breaks!

Hi David, I guess technically every video we make is an advertisement but this is really just an honest look at how things came to be. We never say our boards are made in Australia so unsure where you read that! The featured video for the past year on our channel is a documentary showing the production of the GTR in our manufacturing facilities.
