@@samuelcarvalho3691 Mercedes are very technical with their content. Nothing bad about it but I personally enjoy the Behind the charge and even the Ferrari SF full access and McLaren unboxed more.

@@BookishGoodWitch They basically said they dropped the ball. Which is not really a satisfying answer IMO, especially not when you're in the business of promoting energy drinks. At least they could have elaborated somewhat on why they slipped away from this golden marketing opportunity. Heck, I could even settle for an after-the-fact episode of Imola. It's not that often that you can grab a 1-2 victory plus an almost perfect sprint race score in Ferrari's backyard. Btw last year we saw this as well. The French GP was arguably one of the best team efforts of the season for Red Bull with a very strong executed strategy. Still no Behind the Charge of that one.

Miami has an high population of Spanish speakers from Latin America, Checo being the only driver from Latin America in the grid makes this a home race. If Checo doesn't get renewed Redbull will lose a huge chunk of their new fan base.

@@Lunarr0ck they probably won't get rid of Checo because he is a really good driver in the car and in the coming years may fight for the WDC.

@@Lunarr0ck There is NO WAY they are getting rid of Checo, he’s been Max’ best teammate. But more than that, he’s fit in beautifully at Red Bull and has given the team is sort of ‘peace’ they did not have when frantically trying to shoehorn in another young driver alongside Max, which only made that young driver feel down when they couldn’t compete. Checo actually brings it to Max and more to it than that, they’ve become close friends and it’s so nice to see. I loved watching Checo and his wife and kid have lunch with Max, while Little Checo was balanced on Max’ hip. And Checo’s dad with Max is just adorable. He just ‘works’ for RB and RB knows it, it’s why they’re giving Checo a big raise and contract extension. More than that, The Netherlands and Mexico have both taken the other driver into their hearts as much as their home driver. Red Bull is NOT a team that has to worry about Silly Season!

This isn’t to diss Charles; he’s a good kid and he’s going to be great, but every one of the young drivers is going to fail when placed face to face with Max. Niki Lauda said this, and many of the F1 legends are now saying this. Watch ‘Could Max Verstappen be the greatest?’ by Perspective. It highlights what a lot of the legends are saying about Max right now. It just came out a few days ago. I definitely don’t feel the animosity towards Charles that I did with Ham, I like the energy this season is bringing…it’s a lot more positive and healthy. The HARD but RESPECTFUL battles between Charles and Max really serve to highlight where the REAL toxicity was laying with last season.

Legends were made when, most of the time, they drove the best car. Could Max have become WC in 2020? On his own merits, yes. But then, he didn't have the best car. But he drove the socks off that Red Bull and finished on the podium at every race he completed, even winning 2 races. I very much doubt that any other driver with similar material could have achieved those results. His consistency in 2021 was just phenomenal, finishing 1st or 2nd at every race he completed and therefore a deserving WC having led more laps than all other drivers put together and 50% more than the second guy. I would say, as a biased Max fan, that he is already a legend. An exceptional young talent that has already achieved so much and hopefully with many more great victories and championships to come.
