Hello! I'm the Mayor of Whitworth - one of my constituents told me about the Whitworth SPZL trainer, that it was named after our town. I wondered if this was the case, and if there is any more information on how it came to be named along with any design cues etc. It would be a great story to share with my town and the local museum. Thanks, Gareth.
Back in the 1980's we used to check how good the heel support was on nike trainers, im a big adidas fan, just bought keglar super they are amazing retro ones are the very best.
Great video. With Vinted I can now build a small but usuable collection. As a graphic designer in my past job it was all converse and Docs but now i am wearing white tennis shoes with army style coats
A nice collection, Would love to see a collaboration with William Morris prints in the future. The iconic 1960s boutique Granny Takes A Trip used William Morris prints in jackets, shirts and trousers.
‘Always try to cop 1 piece of clothing and 1 trainer from each drop. Everything is timeless. ‘Would be great to have more minds like Gary’s at the helm of the brand… at least directing Originals related products. NIGO and Pharrell seem to truly appreciate the brand while adding their flair. I struggle to think of many people other than Gary and team who would have tried to revamp the Questar and other classics. adidas needs more true curators like these people. Protect and Honor the icons in the vault. Introduce new products that align with the 3Stripes ethos. ✌🏽💙👟
Shocking adidas design shoes in the last 10 years ,,,,and also the beutiful toe shaped shoes of the 70/80’s are now too round ,,, I suspect all made in china now like every thing else ,,,, it’s as if some ones bought the manufacturing rites ,, tried to copy but not allowed to be exact as the original shoe
