Mayer Hawthorne is by far one of my favorite song writers and performers. I saw him in Asheville last year and remember every single second of that concert, something that no other artist has accomplished so well and the fact he brings his audience in with it on a personal level, like the most recent music video "Reach out Richard" I mean that was a personal song full of heartache but he allowed his audience to be apart of it in a way that I've never seen another artist do.
Incredible... one of the most underrated musicians ever, so glad to have discovered this music years ago. Does anyone know if that John Hill tune at 12:19 was ever released? Can't find it anywhere.
thank you so much for uploading this-super intresting to get a look behind the music and whats happening in the studio! this album is perfect i love it so much i can't get it out of my mind! :)
Wow, 'Wine Glass Woman' sounds sooo diferent there, he is by far one of the best at his own, it's a shame that he doesn't get as much attention as other 'top' artists at the moment, and I hate the fact that everybody I know don't know who he is... And here in Mexico, they don't sell any of his records.
Mayer + Pharrell? ooooh wow! Nice collab! the main reason why all of the songs in this album is pretty much loved. such an eargasm! Can't help it but to really fall in love at first heard. haha
Been following sing "You got the makings of a lover". Being from SoCal, Chicano, Lowriding dude, but the Steely Dan element...man you got that in you. Make the music complex but sound like it's not. Dig it man.
