Far too often, photographers seek out the sweeping vistas when the sun is rising or setting and is reflected in the Big Stopper glass-like sea, or look for the shots of the big species on the African Savannah; they miss the every day pictures that make up our lives: the tiny mosses and lichens, the fungi amassed on a decaying log, the slow shutter speed picture of autumn leaves dancing against a crips blue sky, or the orchids bravely fighting against all odds to stand tall along some busy road verge, These are what really makes life, these are what really make where we live. Joe and Colin take all these, and they do so with a quite humbleness and modesty; without the shouting look-at-me of so much modernity and instant celebrity that is demanded by so many on RU-vid and others. Joe and Colin, I thank you, for your quiet modesty and your undoubted ability to show the world as it really is.
I loved series 1 so thank you for producing series 2. Great watching and listening to these two legends talk about photography. Also great to see them embracing new technology and how it can help with your photography. Series 3 please!
Great series with two fine gentleman.. totally inspiring and so informative! Colin and Joe thank you kindly for sharing these moments with two of the best landscape photographers of this era ! Everything spoken is bang on true ! Thank you Sigma
What a shame that they stuck to the castle, and didn't venture to the far side of Holy Island, it's so wild and beautiful over there away from the busy tourist side. Great shots though. Thank you.🍷
Great 3-parter focussing on making art, what else should we expect from two living legends of landscape photography. Many youtube photographers should watch and take notes.
Great series, can Joe tempt Colin down to Cornwall? I liked the bit about feeding the the Rat, as that thought had crossed my mind last night. I used to climb years back and there is book I have called feeding the Rat by Al Álvarez. IIt does get to you and you just have to get out and do it, climb or take photographs.
Do you have any say / input of/towards sigma gear etc ??? . I've had the 150-600c for nearly 4 yrs now and i've never seen any updates for the lense .. I wasted 40 quid on the sigma dock ...
