The best part ! They take melodies we already love and bring us new ways to enjoy them, new variations, combinations, additional fitting instruments, somehow this blends 2 of the brain's dopamine sources into one (comfortable familiarity and exciting newness)

I'm one step away from cutting and slapping together every variation of a melody into a playlist, but I hope EM do it because their result will be much better xD (Example : the legendary Dyson sphere theme which makes cameos in other space videos, I love listening to all the variations at once instead of going through and entre different soundtrack to find the 30 seconds plug) (Maybe I'm weird and getting too excited again for mundane topics, but hey, whatever sparks happiness gets a pass in my book)

Like, for example, the motifs shared with Unusual Physics starting at 0:57, 3:27, 4:14, 7:00, and 7:50! That's probably not what they really are meant to be from, but it'd be cool if they were.

And some people still believe it's better to teach this way, teaches don't show it in class for a reason, it's oversimplified.. but it could make a good introduction to the topic. I swore there used to be tons of comments saying that "If teachers actually taught this way we would've been on mars right now" Eh.. not truly right but I guess it's just a joke.. right?

They always provide a document with sources and further analysis tho, moreover I haven't heard them telling us that their videos are equivalent to high school or university education so they are not the problem, I agree with their videos being oversimplified but that's what science divulgation is.

I guess the title of the video was simplified to be more concise and some of the nuance was lost... Maybe take the title with a grain of salt too 🤭

@@cghbv1585 Whenever people say that it would be better if teachers taught this way, I interpret it as something along the lines of "if teachers were able to show tiny pieces, and then show how it all fits together in a cool way, then more people would be interested in science and learning in general." I went through school, and at least for me, it seemed like the school was teaching for the final test more then to actually see what you have learned and what made the subject interesting to you. I love Kurzegesagt videos not only for their visual appeal, but for the fact that they simplify concepts enough that people who have a hard time with science can understand them (many people like science, but it tends to hurt their head just because it is a lot to learn and can be honestly confusing at times), but also in depth enough that you gain more insight and knowledge, much like they said in the video related to this music video. All in all, I get what some of those comments you mentioned are saying, and you have a point. That being said, if school was a bit more like Kurzegesagt videos, I would definitely not be complaining.
