Let me start by expressing my gratitude for your videos. I am about to embark on the journey of DIY to transition away from standard LED the few RGB props to do all RGB. would you be able to offer guidance on how you would do roofline etc. in C9 if you were starting fresh? Would you still use PVC pipe? This is my goal this year and I am struggling with deciding on bullets vs C9, and how to mount. Large home, plus I want to do 12 windows of various sizes.
I would be happy to discuss this with you. I started with C9 outlines on my house and it is a great place to start. I eventually added icicles and repurposed my C9 to outline my yard.
IN THIS VIDEO YOU DIDN'T SHOW HOW YOU MOUNT THE SNOWFLAKES TO THE GROUND. I WAS THINKING OF HANGING MINE FROM THE ARCH BUT NOT SURE THAT IS A GOOD IDEA.
I don’t think the pex is strong enough to hold the snowflakes for long periods of time. I built a frame out of pvc and used rebar to hold it upright. Checkout my 2021 behind the scenes video at about the 2 minute mark
