An inside look at the actors in the studio. Release Date: Mar 26, 2010 Studio: DreamWorks & Paramount Synopsis: After bonding with an injured dragon, a Viking teen learns that the creatures are friends, not foes.
Often animators will animate the characters based on some of the voice actor's own mannerisms. We can see that this happened with Hiccup and his hand movements while he talks :)
I love how the hand movements are the same! So endearing and it makes that scene in the second movie with Astrid all the more sweet and funny knowing it’s based on Jay’s actual movements!
I just love how much effort they put into their voice acting, they really take on their character's personality and just put it all into the recording. I just love it!
I'm just going to point out what everybody probably knows already. The voices that T.J. Miller, Jay Baruchel, Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz-Plasse use for their characters (Tuffnut, Hiccup, Snotlout and Fishlegs respectively) are their actual speaking voices!
Wow, I thought Jay and Butler were actors that I could never take seriously like Nicolas Cage, but the Movie was just so awe-inspiring with characters that were well written and voice acted, they look so respectable and just glorious now.
This is a movie that does nearly EVERYTHING right. But am I the only who thinks that Gobber and Stoick is one of those things? The conversation between them about Hiccup is really good because of how their actors are actual friends
Jonah Hill and Christopher Mintz- Plasse are both so much fun in all their roles! I kind of wanted to see T.J. Miller recording Tuff's line of "OH, I'M HURT! I AM VERY MUCH HURT!
Craig Ferguson, Gerard Butler and Jay Baruchel were great. Also, Kristen Wiig was funny as hell ALL of them were great. Not many people have watched Dragons: Gift of the Night Fury, it´s a short one (about 30 minutes), but it´s also a GREAT one.
i like seeing the actors voice the characters. its like "whoa he sounds just like hiccup"...i agree with the best like being "thank you for nothing you useles reptile"
It honestly breaks my heart that such terrific actor as Gerald Butler never made it beyond a few good movies, and got stuck with a slew of mediocre ones.
Baruchel and Butler are the only ones that really look like their character. Some of the others weren't too far off, but those who played Gobber, Snotlout and Fishlegs really surprised me :p It's amazing how peoples voices can completely fool you to their looks!
I used to watch the late, late show with Craig Ferguson.... but he's not on there anymore ;-; I like the new guy though because he's in doctor who... but... NOOOOO CRAIG FERGUSON
this is one of my favorite movies and i’ve never seen this. currently watching this with a koolaid smile 😁❤️ love the passion and acting movements from the actors and actresses
Its so interesting watching the people with the voices we know so well act as the characters from the movie yet ive never seen the people who play the voices
