Congratulations because what you do is beautiful and more remote for astrophotos and you can see that the astrophotos that you would give to have a really cool telescope like that are of good quality ,From Chile southamerica
Wow guys, what an awesome setup. I am in the southern hemisphere and just starting up my astrophotography hobby again (after 50 years). So obviously I have a steep learning curve to get back up to speed. Your site would allow me to set up projects for the northern sky targets I don't have access to. I have to look into this further. Thanks for the tour!
Great video! What a tremendous operation they have out there. It was a pleasure to watch and learn how much thought they have put into it and the care they take to keep it up and running smoothly. Thanks for sharing! ✌🏽
Lots of good info here. I've got to wonder who picked the images to use for the section on protection against thieves, though. I guess there are no white thieves in Utah?
We mention this on previous videos about UDRO, and it is also on their website I believe. You can watch our Interview video with Craig Stocks, or the one where we first install our telescope there, one of them covers that question
Not sure but I don't believe so unless it is for a special event. Not many people are allowed around the telescopes to avoid accidentally touching anything
Looks like a great facility. I wish there was more information on the median nighttime seeing conditions there for the year and also for each season. Online, I saw 1.5" to 2.5", which isn't terrific - actually is what I get here on many nights in the north east - and we're not known for having the best seeing conditions.
