We run our small engine equipment dry before storing on our farm. Remove all fuel from the system and change the oil. Take the battery out and put on a battery tender. Steel wool in the exhaust pipe and moth balls everywhere else. Etc, etc. All of which I'm sure you already know. When we come back to the equipment and put fresh gas in, connect the battery, remove the moth balls and steel wool...90% of the time they start right up.

Interesting-not boring. Much of this is the reality of the daily life of those living on rural property. It’s nice to sometimes see regular life in RU-vid videos!

My family had a cottage since 1945. All I, my father, and my grandfather ever saw was work, lots of work, oceans of leaves, endless battle with chipmunks, tons of home repairs, and only 10% fun. But it was worth the effort. ❤ 3 lifetimes of great family memories.😊

I use to have a cabin when I was younger & could take care of it. Like you said there is always something to do. Mow the grass & weeds, cut & chop wood etc. I had a board & batten exterior & had to keep in repair plus keep fresh coats of stain on it. Loved cooking on a fire place I built. Damn do I ever miss it !!👍👍🍺🍺

Not boring, at all, just the maintenence needed to keep a place like yours

I don’t know if you have power all the time or in the shed. A solar panel and a cheap charge controlar might help that battery. I live in a remote place and this is what I do for my equipment.

Very interesting! Ever consider burning off the pasture every few years to mimic natural fire behavior? You may want to do some research into it. Does Canada have the equivalent of the Natural Resources Conservation Service in the U.S.? If so, they may be able to assist.

Using the chainsaw is never boring! Better than watch is when I use it!! I love using my chainsaw...just do! Is that feeling of power...
